I'm don't remember the last time I wrote a journal entry... it's probably been to long. Well a bunch has happened. I finished my senior year of high school biggrin
It was a very busy year, the first semester of senior year I was full time at the learning center (I was part time for the last three years, one or two classes at the center and the rest was home schooled) and I took our school's first AP class. Let's just say don't take AP unless you're really sure you want to take the test. I was pretty much forced to take the test and was informed of it a week before so I didn't do to well... Anyway the biggest part of my second semester was that I helped plan my school's prom. Which isn't as fun as you think it is. Unless you absolutely know you're budget and how many kids are coming it's a pain. We had to guess how many people were going to come, and we only had $200 to spend on decorations. But in the end it was a good prom at the Mission Inn and we even made the school around $1200. So that was a plus. Especially since 3-4 people planned the whole thing.
Then came graduation, which was sad. While some of my friends are still around others went away. The suckiest thing though is that we didn't get our yearbook until the last hour of the last day of school, and everyone was gone by then so I didn't get most of my friends to sign it. :/
But guess what, two weeks after graduation I started summer semester at the local community college. Short course calculus. Not fun. But I made it through with a B so that was good. So my summer vacation was really only 4 weeks or so.
Now it's fall semester and I have 17 units smile (not bad for registering two weeks before class) Welding, Stagecraft, Trig, Critical thinking and English 1A (composition english, aka torture). Welding is really fun and I'm better then most of the guys smile My stage craft class is really cool since my teacher works for Disney. He was the head craftsman for the Mad T Party (in California Adventure) and he works with the World of Color. So a good link for becoming an Imagineer. wink My trig class is to easy since what we're learning is what I covered in pre-cal already. Critical thinking doesn't start until October so that's good. But English, that to me is the worst subject ever, I try and try but I never seem to get a decent response on what I'm doing wrong or what the teacher would like to see. I need a formula but apparently english doesn't have one, which sucks.
Soooo that's what's been happening around here, my boyfriend and I celebrated being together for a year and a half, was Team Captain and lead Engineer for my robotics team, am now a mentor for the same robotics team, finished high school, finally got myself a laptop (it's sooo pretty), started college and just chugging through life.
smile anyway I guess I'll write another entry in a year or so (oh and btw pintrest is the biggest procrastination tool ever) see ya smile
