Kase dropped from the cab, looked at Zane and Armo for a long moment, and went after his husband, picking him up and swinging him around after he'd kicked out of his shoes, kissing him all over his head.
Zane sighed heavily and started walking back to the park.
Armo frowned and took his arm. "Where are you going?"
Zane stopped instantly at the touch and gazed up at Armo "Need to clear my head." He replied.
"By walking away from where we need to be?"
"These guys frustrate me.." He glanced back at the house "alright, alright fine"
"Why do they frustrate you?" Armo looked at Zane confusedly.
"They just do. I can't make heads or tails of them." Zane admitted.
"How can't you?" Armo waited.
"I don't know." Zane replied "I've known them for awhile, but it still feels like I don't -really- know them y'know?" He headed into the house as he shed his shoes.
"No, I don't know," Armo admitted as he went inside. Jameel was listening to Ashton, Silas, and Benji reading them a story as Kase used his stomach as a pillow, nestled between his legs, Lex's head resting on Kase's chest, arms looped around the Native man's neck.
Stopping at the sight of the family gathering around the kids reading a story, Zane gave a small smile "That's adorable. Remember when Mom used to do that with me?"He looked up at Armo.
"Yeah. So, why can't you understand them again?" Armo asked, smirking and folding his arms. He looked at the group. Benji had put Ashton on Silas' lap and was now working with Gordi to cover Lex, who had fallen asleep on Kase, who was equally worn out. Jameel remained vigilant for a few more moments, long enough to kiss all four children's heads, before falling asleep as well and submitting to being made into a burrito.
"Sure...be smug about it.." He muttered and shoved Armo lightly. He grinned up at Armo and looked at the family "Guess I need to hang out with them more"
"I'm not being smug." Armo took a seat on the stairs and looked up at Zane. "Try explaining what makes you frustrated about them slowly."
"..Uh..well.." He crossed his arms thoughtfully, plunking himself onto the larger male's lap. "I guess.." he frowned slightly "I don't entirely understand the way they work.." He shifted a bit. "I mean,they're nice and all, but I say one thing wrong and they kind of..act like I've made a crime.I've learned to watch what I say around them, but I don't know how to act around them half the time, it's frustrating"
