If there was one place that I believed that survived this catastrophe, It would have been the Scarlet Devil Mansion. The first time I was there I was astonished on the design. Elegant, Grand and quite the indestructible fortress. The last time I was in the Mansion, I learned that the place was an inescapable maze, Surely it would have survived this event. I was proven wrong when I arrived early morning the day after I took a trip to the Bamboo Forest. The Mansion I remember visiting was almost completely destroyed. However The outer brick walls, The front gate, and couple other features of the mansion like the garden was quite untouched. I am not going to lie. Exploring the mansion was much easier. Everything was much more visible since most of the Mansion was destroyed. The Barrier surrounding the Mansion seemed to have dissipated as well, making parts of the mansion salvageable. Gathering resources for my survival I took a gimps outside. Night was falling and I knew that the Mobs were going to emerge and I was foolish enough to not bring my sword. I only had one option. I had to stay the night at the Mansion. It wasn't too bad. There were beds around, and some of the rooms were not too damaged making it a safe shelter for the night. There was one more reason one my decision of staying the night at the Scarlet Devil Mansion. there was something that I wanted to see. Something that I never managed to get around too see while the Paradise was still.. A paradise. The Famous Voile Library. But for now, I need to get some rest.
