Listening to this song makes me want to buy another violin. Yes, I hardly played when I was in forth grade (due to moving and changing of school districts and music policies), but I still miss the experience and the happiness it brings me. *shrugs* Perhaps, sometime, my playing could put a smile on someone's face.
I brought that to the forefront because the song begins with violins, and the beautiful sway of notes courses throughout the song. At the beginning, I almost feel like being tossed into a lake and dragged whichever way the current runs. Mm...
I also like that the speed of the instruments runs faster than the words being sung. I find that to be a great contrast from most rock and rock alternative music.
And... I think I ran out of things to say... I am quite tired... Anyway, on to the lyrics!
"Exogenesis Symphony Part 1 (Overture)" by Muse
"Aping my soul You stole my overture Trapped in God's program Oh I can't escape Who are we? Where are we? When are we? Why are we? Who are we? Where are we? Why Why Why?
I can't forgive you And I can't forget Who are we? Where are we? When are we? Why are we in here?"
*Note: This song should also be listened to.
