This Isn't a Problem At All
This is Pornography
I've noticed recently in a few parts of Gaia, images being posted, either that of a person from Gaia, or a stranger who probably has no clue this site exists. All ranging from various ages. I refuse to believe that the majority of people think that a naked body of any age is automatically some sort of pornographic image. If the majority does think this, then the majority of people are prudes.

Recently there was an article about people being offended by one of Picasso's paintings. Here is the link to the image. Here is the news article.

It's a given that not all naked people are beautiful to stare at. I don't think that people should freak out over a naked body, or get enticed by one either. We've seen the body before, and we have our own, so nothing should be that surprising. I think religion has made people think that the site of a body is something you're not supposed to look at. I'm talking about religions mainly from the Middle East. This does include Christianity, in case some of you are wondering.

One thing I hate hearing is about child nudity. Oh no! Yeah, it's most likely a touchy subject because we're all told to think this way. There are nude images that go way back of children, and I suppose some might say that it was alright because in the past that's how people drew. Nope. Even today there are some people who believe that old paintings of let's say Cupid is considered child pornography.

They're worried that whichever child was used in the painting, they were probably sexually abused. This could be true, or not. That's for you to figure out. A child apparently can't consent, correct? So, if a child can't consent for a person to draw him or her on a canvas, or what have you, then what about magazine ads with child models, or child actors and actresses? You may say it's because they're clothed. You may even say that their parents said it was alright. Regardless, they can't consent for themselves. Which brings me to another thing. There are old movies where children are naked. That was way back when. Today, chances are you'll have people freak out and tell you how wrong that is. Again, it's what we're taught. Had we never been taught how nudity is wrong, do you think we'd be fine with going out without any clothes on? Most likely.

Anyway, the way I've always seen pornography was when it had someone doing a provocative pose, or having sexual connotations. Standing around without any clothes on isn't the equivalent of pornography.
