It was too rough today, you know.
I don't think I cried as hard as I did at the funeral.
Kim's words really, really hit home.

"She was 11 when she lost her nanny,,
And she wrote, "Sixty-three years later, I would drive slowly past her house
And I would whisper, "Hi Nanny, I love you."

And I know that I will find myself driving on Lafayette Ave
And I will whisper, "Hi Grammy, I love you."

We're all just praying that the family doesn't fall apart,
My home has been deemed the new 142 Lafayette Ave.
I think the honor that's been bestowed to my dad is one he's been waiting to take.

We're all gonna be just fine, we're all gonna make it out alive.
And we're all going to be a family.

Because I REFUSE to lose any person.
And I made sure they knew that tonight.

From oldest to youngest, from biggest to smallest,
Every single one of them will stay with me.

Even my Uncle Alan, if he finds himself in Greensboro, he can live with me.
I'll take care of him, and he knows it.
