Mom: “What are you doing? We already have dessert! Besides Cannoli’s aren’t sophisticated!”
Daughter: “Well neither are we, I got ‘em for you”
Mom: “Oh.. You got them for me?”
Daughter: “Yeah”
Mom: “You’re the perfect daughter”
This is how I want my mom to treat me. You know, just once in a while. (Oh this is from Rizzoli and Isles by the way.) Maybe after I installed the garbage disposal, or went out of my way to help her doing whatever she needs to do, or when I plan dinner, or make dinner, or drive people around, or do extra chores, or...
I don't want the response to be "I'm so disappointed in her for not finishing-" when I had enough of her acting like I'm obligated to do this stuff, and told her exactly what I want hear to finish it. stressed It's not like it was much, I just wanted her to say "Please fix the leaking joint under the sink." Was that so hard?
Self-righteous meanie. Hope it was worth it, because I'm not talking to her until she does something big. Well, not big big, but nice. Something to let me know she actually cares, because little texts saying "Love ya" aren't gonna cut it, not this time. She missed her chance. If she had said, two sentences of how nice this was, instead of acting like I was incompetent or something, acting like I did something wrong.
I'm done, I don't think Mom even realizes how bad this is. She was laughing, like she found me ridiculous. That cemented it.

Keeping in Mind...
Pretty much anything that won't fit in a facebook stat, or what I feel like writing. Random facts, or shocking details.
