Anime Expo Checklist
6-2-1 Rule: 6 hours of sleep, 2 meals a day, 1 shower a day.

Food: (Remember, never buy food at the Expo, it costs a fortune.)
Pack a lunch, NOT RAMEN.
Bring a water bottle. Liquids needed.
Gatorade is good too.
Take the free samples of 5-hour-energy: they pass it out while in line for your badge.

When to buy and what to buy:
Best to buy during 4th day, but popular stuff is quickly sold:
Purchase Popular items on 1st day;
Posters, Plushies, Figurines, Pillows, DVD's...
Purchase less popular items on 4th day;
Contacts, Bento/ Foodstuffs, Hentai, Expensive Cosplay/Clothing.

Note- BUDGET. You never know if your ride doesn't show up. Save at least 10 bucks for something in case of emergency.

Cosplay: Make sure costume is comfortable.
If your costume has makeup in it, bring extra for touch-ups.
The center is air-conditioned, but if you walk outside to get something, like lunch, or for meet-ups, or Concerts/ Activities, be sure to wear cool clothes.
Wake up at least 2 hours earlier to put on your cosplay ahead of time.
Bring deodorant/ antiperspirant.
Let's face it. We all stink at some point. So bring your 'stink-wax', as my friends call it.

Note- DO NOT, I repeat, DO NOT, wear sandals. Your feet will get tired, get crushed by others, and they'll get sore.

Artist's Alley- Even if it may sound suckish, check it out. You can get a good-quality, good-sized poster for 3 bucks.
You can also try to haggle, and it helps to support the artists.

Get there early, or you'll be out in the sun all day.
Talk to people, and do random stuff. Stay in a group, because the more people, the more hilariously chaotic!
Bonding with people is fun. I mean, who doesn't like Expo shenanigans?
