Everyone wants to spend time with Haruhi. We all like her.
How am I any different from everyone, besides that I am her father? The twins want to accompany their sister everywhere, right? -smiles- Kyoya, being Mommy and all, takes care of all of us, including Haruhi. Mori-senpai and Honey-senpai, our cousins, like to frequently visit our immediate family of five, so we can all hang out~*~*
Haruhi attracts all of us because she’s adorable. My little girl is a scholar too! She’s a commoner, but an amazing one at that, seeing she is attending Ouran Academy. Haruhi’s helpful when the situation calls for it or not. She can be quite insightful. She’s blunt and mean, but she’s also kind. She never overlooks what’s truly important. She’s intelligent, confident, independent, caring, thoughtful, beautiful, supportive… Sometimes, she may not like many things I suggest, but she doesn’t reject them either when I try to help…. And this makes me feel happy because a father wants to help his daughter in any way he can while he still can~ Ranka-san does this all the time~ A-Although Haruhi might plainly decline his services -sweatdrops- like she does with me. ….I just..want to give her the best. Is that so wrong? We all do..we want to take care of her, see her happy and enjoying life and all its experiences. Maybe Kyoya might not care in the same parental way, but everyone else loves Haruhi too like family.
Otherwise, we still wouldn’t be together.
Family is forever. They stay there when everyone else may leave. And no one’s left yet. Of course we’re family. We may be a young family because the club formed only a few years ago, but we are a family nonetheless!
My feelings may be a little stronger than the others, but what father wouldn’t feel that way towards their child?

I asked Mom if Grandmother hated me because she never came to France to see me. Not once ever since I was born. She comforted me. I wasn’t the one Grandmother didn’t like, but it was her. Because “Mama fell in love with Papa,” she explained, Grandmother despised Mom that much. To not want anything to do with the woman who makes her son happy...?
She then reassured me, “But there is nothing to worry about, Tamaki. There wouldn’t be anyone who hates you. Even your grandmother someday will come to see you.”
Even if she said that, smiling, she still seemed sad for some reason. Because if you fall in “love”, someone will be sad. Someone won’t like it. It will cause disaster.
Dad loves Mom and me. Mom loves Dad and me. And I love my parents. However, Grandmother doesn’t seem to like any of the three of us. If you fall in “love”, would it bring the family to quarrel with one another…?
