Comic Club met this afternoon, and it is the last meeting we will be having for a while. Too many of us are involved with play practice. I have to attend rehersal even if I am only an understudy, Hellene is overwhelmed working on the play's costumes, and Jackson has the same problem, well, sort of, because Holt Hyde is in the play as well. He does not seem happy about the situation.

Jackson has been acting very distant to me lately, and after comic club I asked him why. He said that it is because I have begun dating Manny, who he is really very much so not friends with. I was a little hurt by this! I told him that no matter my relationship with Manny, he and I are still beast friends. Who else could I turn to when I need my questions about the Freaktastic Four answered? Jackson is like a walking encyclopaedia of comic knowledge. He seemed to feel better after we talked. I must talk to Manny about laying off of Jackson, though.

I've finally gotten caught up on all six hundred thirty-two issues of the Freaktastic Four. Blimey, comics have changed a lot since I started reading them! The art is different, the dialogue is different and everything seems to be about the characters crossing over to fight some big threat that will change the universe forever (or at least until the next big threat that changes the universe forever)! Ghoulia had a fangtastic idea - the next time Comic Club gets together we are all going to work on creating our own superheroes! She called them O.Cs...which stands for Original Characters. We'll share our characters, and then we can write stories about them, which she called Fan Fiction.

It sounds so bloody exciting! I think that my OC will be a normie ghoul...make that a normie girl, who wears a monster disguise to protect and serve the monster populace. I have to decide on a name and a costume now. That will give me something to do at play practice while I'm watching Demona perform her...I mean, our...role.
