and we have grown deaf inside
we do not listen to the cries and wails
of the things in our path

destruction is our middle name
and no matter how much the others weep

we are ignorant and dense
we deny volunteering
we refuse to help
we refrain from supporting

and in the end we will pay a price
far greater than any nihilistic act
that has ever set foot on the earth
