Exhausted. We've finally returned home from Skull Shores. Uncle Wocky suggested that we all fly home under our own power since he saw that I was making good progress with flying. I managed to make it home without colliding with any bats or just dropping off into the ocean, but I. AM. TIRED!!!! I couldn't make the last third of the trip and Wocky and Wyvvernia had to take turns carrying me. It's terribly mortalfying, but now I am determined to work on my endurance.
Speaking of enduring things, Glen was there at the Scareport to greet us, with Chaucer in tow. I don't know what he was feeding my little bookworm, but Chaucer is three times his original size. Starting today, Chaucer is on a diet! Only poetry and short stories for him until he's back down to his slim, trim former self!
Before I collapse into bed I have two pieces of news to share; first, I did manage to get in contact via e-maul with Kai Merha. One of the friends I was sending postcards to at Skull Shores has discovered that she and Kai are second-cousins! It's very exciting, I can't wait to read his reaction to that news. I do hope that Transylvania is treating him kindly.
Second piece of news, I've just gotten an e-gore alert from Manny asking if I will still go out on a date with him. I gave him my word, so all I texted back with was 'YES!' I wonder where we'll go?
