It's been awhile since I've actually added to my journal, so I thought, 'hey lets do anime this time!' and so I did... okay thats a lie, I'm trying to get out of homework, and thats the first thing that came up. Shut up. ANYWAYS. The first anime I every really watched was Pokemon, suprise suprise. As a little kid, I was fascinated with it, and would throw a fit when I missed an episode. My favorite movie as a kid was Mewtwo's Revenge, and later Celebi the Voice of the Forest. Even now I still love this anime, even if it has gotten pretty cheesy and sad. However, because lets face it, Pokemon isn't going to end for awhile, the first anime I finished was Tokyo Mew Mew. Thanks to my love of animals, sparkles, and magical girl animes, this was easily high on my favorites for a long time. Now? Not so much. I've found that while this anime still holds a special place in my heart, its not very high up there anymore. As a kid, I often rented Sailor Moon videos from Blockbuster every Saturday (y'know, when it didn't cost a fortune and a half do to cool things like that.) and it would keep me busy for most of the week. (until I started going to school. See what I mean by kid?) This is actually what started my love for magical girl animes. At first, before I had watched sailor moon, I had thought it was overrated and refused to watch it for a long time (a year), however, when I finally did watch it, I loved it. (I haven't changed much since back then, I'm still as stubborn.) Since then, my list of animes that I've watched/am watching (I get distracted.) has grown, and I know a lot more now. For awhile, I used to refuse to watch anything other then Tokyo Mew Mew, but then I dipped my toes into Lucky Star and Ouran High School Host Club. Unfortunately, nothing will ever replace Pokemon as my favorite anime, because the show practically raised me. However, (I'm saying that a lot I've noticed) many have come close. I don't feel like typing anymore, ohwell.
