Quote: Torch-bearing mobs move surprisingly quickly." - Frank Barrow
The importance of keeping a written account of my life has been impressed upon me by a dear friend who I couldn't refuse.
This is the same "dear friend" that insisted upon taking me to a Fair the other day and it should be noted that I like fairs as much as carnivals, which is to say not at all.
But I was never asked to sign anything, never invited to play the games or get on any of the ghastly rides. Instead we saw a small art show and an animal exhibit. There was a small performance of actors who all appeared to be perfectly human and in the end it wasn't so bad after all.
There was a time, very very long ago, when I looked forward to fairs and carnivals and the traveling circus's. I was a child then and the world so much more innocent. But I didn't lose my Soul on this outing, which takes me one step closer to normalacy, I suppose.
