I've been back on Gaia for about a week now. Getting back into the swing of things has been a bit difficult . . . things - while much the same - are a bit different. Some of the things I like are still here . . . dressing up . . . selling on the market . . . daily chance. Some things have improved for the better . . . better rewards - for both player and tank owner for playing booty grab (which is great when I attempt to play on my old, antique computer) . . . the money tree . . . great when you need to bump up your gaia cash number to buy something . . .
I still don't like how they simply ignore users with problems playing their games that don't work . . . like the pie contest. I was ready to go the distance . . . pay the 62500 to fill up five cards . . . until it stopped working. When I realized I could earn a wing sticker for every six slices purchased . . . I decided to do that . . . buy by the slice . . . but I was never awarded the promised stickers for each 6 slices . . . and even with posting the problem in the tech section . . . no one bothered to fix it . . . to notify me that they even cared to fix it. I am treated like the enemy.
But . . . the good news is . . . it made me realize that I don't need to feed a lot of money into their virtual products . . . if they just don't care about taking care of people proven to be the type of customer who puts real cash into their real world environment . . . to take care of things like . . . rent and salaries . . . then hey . . . that's where their real problem lies. They've really never shown loyalty to paying customers.
Getting back into Gaia has been fun . . . but getting all 5 tanks up to par has taken much from me as far as time towards my own personal endeavors . . . which is making holiday ornaments and garlands. I'm trying to find a balance . . . but it's hard . . .
