Chapter 2: A Black Rose
Keysa woke up in Zero’s bed that night seeing he was gone on his duties for the night. Keysa sat up looking around then she noticed a black rose on the bed stand table with a note. She leaned over and picked the note up and read it. ‘Dear Keysa I might be gone when you awake because of my duties but make yourself at home if you didn’t want to go to school today’ it was signed Z. Keysa sighed and just stayed there she didn’t really want to go to school today. Keysa grabbed a book from her bag she took with her to Zero’s and started to read. It wasn’t long when the hours went by and Zero came though the door. Zero looked at her and smiled, she put the book down and blinked a couple of times.
“I take it morning or I wouldn’t be tried again” Keysa said rubbing her eyes a little. Zero walked over to her and sat beside her.
“Yea its morning again but it’s a Saturday so don’t worry” Zero said kissing her neck. Keysa smiled but then she moved away.
“I’m sorry Zero but I better get back to the night class before Kain, Shiki, and Aido worry to must” Keysa said in a sad way but he knew she was right. Keysa got up and grabbed her bag and kissed Zero goodbye.
When she got to the second night class dorm the B levels were waiting for her.
“Were you been” Asked a couple of them and they looked sad so Keysa answered it in the best of ways.
“I was talking to the Headmaster about the upcoming dance for the night and day classes I’m sorry if I worried you guys” Keysa said nicely and they nodded their heads and walked off to their dorms feeling better that their pureblood vampire was back. Kain, Aido, and Shiki stayed behind to talk to Keysa. Keysa sighed and sat on the couch and the other sat across from her.
“There more to your story isn’t there Keysa I mean there no way someone can take that long talking about the dance” Shiki asked and Keysa answered she couldn’t hide things from these three at all.
“Yes I might be gone a couple of days….” She paused a minute then continued talking “I’m going to look for my little sister I heard from the headmaster they found her close to the school and I heard it from Zero as well” Keysa said looking into their eyes, but when she looked at Kain she knew he knew she was hiding something and he wasn’t going to ask in front of Aido and Shiki. Shiki nodded his head and left with Aido. Keysa got up and took Kain hand and led them to his room.
“Ask it, I know you know something now ask your question” Keysa said after they got into the room and the door was closed.
“What are you hiding Keysa you never hide things until now so whats up” Kain said looking into her eyes. Keysa sighed and answered.
“Zero going to help me look for my sister I don’t know if I can work with an old friend of mine” Keysa said looking sad. Kain knew Keysa and Zero worked together before but he didn’t know she would be sad over it. Kain walked over to Keysa and hugged her. Keysa bared her head in his chest and stayed there for awhile.
