One true Lamunes
Personally i love Gintama just because it's just ... I've never seen an anime quite like it. It really pushes the boundries of what could be considered decent in a story. I mean this anime royally crushes the habitual character archetypes. To be honest i have NEVER seen characters as insane and yet all so totally hilarious (well except for Otsu... god i hate her) as in Gintama. I mean to be honest the series is original in my opinion and that's what i love about it.
I to agree there is nthing that I know of that comes close (mabe Hetalia), one show may be serious then the next will be totally out of this world.
I really do not have a favorite episode, but I really liked the first one and lots others. sweatdrop
My favorite pairing would have to be Toshiro and Gintoki, my two favorite characters out of Gintama, mostly because its hot. sweatdrop But also the way their personalities are it would be prity cute, and dangerous.
