"It may not be my father's life that was taken, but I take it just as hard. You thought revenge was only a guy thing?"

"Oh, definitely! I want to see if you've slowed down any!" She called back, teasingly, after hearing his challenge. She smirked, obviously kidding about his slowing down. Her point was that she would be back sooner than she could get away again. Really, she didn't want to leave one bit, but she'd made an agreement to do a job and she would do it if she was needed. It was actually disheartening to have to, though, and she'd definitely speak with Westley about his timing...

Something about the girl leaving relieved Sam. Probably relieved Al, or maybe upset him a little. Personally, Sam was surprised. Often Al complained about the fact that he couldn't be seen by women of certain age in Sam's leaps. An example of this was after saving the old Southern Melny Trafford, who was about to get hit by a train. Finally, a girl could actually, literally see and hear him. The psychics were a bit different, seeing as they really could only sense his presence. Sam came back to his senses, a little shocked at partly hearing his own name. Didn't really happen often in leaps, but he supposed he shouldn't be surprised that she knew it.

"Uh, well, it was nice meeting you?" He asked, eyebrows furrowed slightly, still not realizing this wasn't in-character. Personally, he kind of hoped Al would go after her to answer any of her question. From what he could guess of Briazra's strange reaction of staring at Al, she didn't seem to able to read him. Of course, he could've been wrong. It was just an observation, judging from what seemed to be frustration. However, he couldn't say anything about it if Inigo was still there. Would Inigo follow after her, though? They did know each other, so it was very possible. Sam wasn't sure.

"Maybe you don't have to do this alone. I'm here for you, my friend."
