What do you collect? Question of the month bby. Here is a list of things I collect/collected over the years ^ ^ I was going to include some pictures but I seemed to have misplaced them somewhere on my laptop o:
Pongs- I believe thats what these little circle cardboard disks were called o: oldschool man. Ive got around 100 or so of them, some more fancy than others. Why did I collect them? I dunno...I think cause they were at a garage sale for like 50cents for the whole set xD (apparently pongs were very big back then for some reason).
Shark Teeth- Why yes, yes I do collect these. My sister got me this container full of shark teeth in different sizes and shapes. I also have half of a megadon shark tooth I got when I was nine or so from the Science center biggrin But my most prized collection of teeth? My shark jaw that currently hangs on my wall. It was most likely from some smaller form of reef shark but I havnt been able to find out yet d:
Collectors cards- Yes...yes. From baseball cards to Beanie Baby (yes....yes....) I have a rather good collection of cards. And by good, I mean...well....good in size I guess xD My favorite out of the cards? My Lord of the rings collectors cards biggrin I also have some Star wars and Harry Potter, but I collected as many of the LOTR ones as I could. Some of which are in protective plastic cases <.< -cough-
Movie Posters- Working at the movie theatre totally had its perks. I think last I counted I had over 120 posters d: But I need to do a recount. My favorite posters? Ninja Assassin, Harry Potter and the Goblit Of Fire, Hairspray, And Black X-mas (never did see that movie but come on...a horror poster with someone covered in blood surounded by christmas lights?!) <---is that sad? d:
Glass bottles- ......Yea um...this is probaly my favorite only because I never collected glass bottles XD You see, out of no where my mum got me these two bottles for my birthday, stating they were for my collection....a collection I did not have. But now I do, because every now and then I get a new bottle from her or someone else d: From where im sitting I can count at least 18 bottles of different shapes, colors, and sizes d:
Comic Books- Id like to say I collected a lot of these but sadly, I only have two d: And ha they arnt even mine Im just not giving them back to my brother in law d: Fantastic Four and The Avengers. Id like to start collecting more...and I beat myself up for not getting that box full off old comics downtown -_- only five dollars! D: So yea, I will be collecting these.
Anime- I dont really have a collection of these yet either, but once ive got my own place Im so hitting up ebay and amazon to buy anime sets biggrin So if you come over youll have a hard time finding any movies that isnt an anime XD
I guess thats really it for my collecting o: I know Im forgetting something...and Im sure one of my sisters -cough grey- will most likely scold me later and remind me of it.
So then...what do you collect? How about instead of commenting here at my lame journal you make an entry in your own (with some pics? o smile ? COME ON GREY! You owe me d: Im about due to collect on your soul...
Anyway, back to basics. My room is 1/3 cleaned -_- But its a big improvement so Im happy with it ^ - ^ And no...I have yet to find the entrance to this hidden spot.
