Nervous, Seth, Rachel, Reina, and Renee entered Lisa and Rei's cabin; only to find out that Rei is their mother, and that they had gone into the past! Hoping that Rei could help them get back to 2030, Seth explains to Rei that they really are from the future, and that they really are her children. But before anything productive could get started, the other kids attacked the village; tying Synova and Kendal up. Shocked and maybe even afraid, we begin to rather our spears, clubs, and torches to defend ourselves from the new threat. Not knowing that they are our own children! Will things get stopped in time? Or will the future be permanently butchered?

Breanna: "Attack!"
*JENNY COMES RUNNING OUT OF HER CABIN*
Jenny: "Babe, what the hell is going on?"
Xavier: "We're being attacked."
Jenny: "By?"
Javier: "Them!"
Alejandra: "This nightly surprises are getting on my last nerves!"

Alejandra picked up a large stick and began running towards the kids, about to swing. Diego, running right behind her, was trying to calm her down. This idea however, wasn't very effective, considering just about everyone else in the village was ready to fight as well. Meanwhile, Rei, Lisa, and I began to hike up the shower hill; to get to a high enough place so that we could warn them not to harm the strangers. But as we reached the peak of the hill, it was islanders gone wild. Alejandra was bashing Breanna with the branch, Jenny was pulling Sabrina's hair, Mocha had pretty much crushed Keila, who was jumping on her back, Synova and Kendal struggled to get free from the vine wrapped hold, Bridgett and Darien were sitting on the beach crying their eyes out, with arms wrapped around each other. The rest seemed like a blur. We had to stop this.

Me: "You guys! Stop it!"
Lisa: "Hey! Listen to us!"
Rei: "Ugh! I will not be ignored! Seth, be a good boy, and fetch ma a handful of gravel."

Seth did as he was told, and handed Rei some gravel. She then turned and chucked it at the crowd, letting the pebbles rain on us and the kids. It didn't take long for everyone to stop what they were doing and look towards us.

Zek: "Now isn't a good time Rei!
Rei: "Oh shut up Zek, I have something to tell you that's far more important than you beating on kids!"
Mocha: "Seth!"
Darien: "Your okay!"
Zek: "Okay Rei, I'll bite. What the hell could be so important it should be worth putting defending ourselves below it?"
Rei: "How about the fact that your a father?!
Zek: "I'm a what?!
Rei: "A father! You know? A dad, a papa, the tree an acorn can't fall too far from!"
Zek: "Are you mad woman? If I'm a father, whose the mother?
Rei: "I am!"

Things became incredibly awkward that next few moments. No one was expecting to hear this, especial in such an open fashion.

Me: "Wait, what? I clearly missed something."
Sabrina: "Seth...blink twice if the crazy lady is holding you hostage against your will."
Renee: "My mom is not crazy! She's an assertive woman with goals!"
Rei: "Huh? Where did you hear that from?
Reina: "Daddy. He says it every time him and Mrs. Appelt get into a fight about who throws the better Halloween party."
*REI SHOOTS ZEK A GLARE*
Me: "Umm...Rei...is there something you want to tell your bestie?"
Rei: "Listen everybody. I know this is going to sound crazy. But I'm going to need you to be very open minded. Almost as though your incredibly drunk open minded. These kids, they aren't the enemy. If anything their us. Who am I kidding? They are our kids! They're from the future. In the future we all get so loopy we do it with each other and have these brats. Now quit beating on your kids!
Me: "Rei, I think you've been doing too much going. Perhaps being near all those dead animals and herbs have made you a little dusty in the attic."
Rei: "I am not crazy!"
Lisa: "She isn't. We know that its her and Zek's kids. I mean, just look at them. The boy reeks of Zek and those little girls could practically be Rei.
Tony: "Okay, so they look like them, but that doesn't really mean anything."
Rei: "How dare you say that my babies aren't mine?! Now I may not remember having them, but in my own defense it technically hasn't happened yet!"
Me: "Look Rei, Lisa, we want to believe you, but the story is pretty unlikely."
Darven: "I agree with the blond haired lady. Time travel is a cool idea, but its impossible."
Jenavieve: "Then how do you explain that they have the exact same names as Seth, Rachel, Reina, and Renee's mom and dad?"
Vanessa: "But how do you explain going back in time?"
Andelousia: "Well that silver window in the monkey castle was pretty strange."
Tyler: "Silver window?"
Azure: "Yeah. You see, it all started..."

After several minutes, Azure explained how the kids had gotten to Nyx Village, and how the were from almost 20 years in the future where the village was Nyx Town. Of course, this story left was very much shocked. You think after having monstrous transformations, wishing stars, and exploding ghetto snow machines, we'd be less surprised by this, but come on, how many people can say they met their kids as teenagers? Well...unless you get pregnant as a teenager, but that's beside the point. It was what happened next that made things a bit easier to understand.

*GROANING NOISES*
Alex: "Whats that annoying noise?"
Makaylah: "Wait, wheres Synova and Kendal?"
*PEOPLE TURN AROUND THE FIND THEM STILL STRUGGLING ON THE GROUND*
Heather: "Oh my gosh. We're so sorry guys."
*KIERA AND HEATHER GET DOWN ON KNEES TO UNTIE THEM*
Jenavieve: "Those are our parents?"
*JENAVIEVE LOOKS TOWARDS KAZUMA AND AZURE*
Azure: "Mom, I'm sorry, for the record, it wasn't my idea.
Kazuma: "M-M-Mine either."
Jenavieve: "I'm only nine. I have no say in anything."
Synova: "I have kids too?"
Azure: "Uh, yeah. You got to have me, the studliest hunk of harmony on these side of the waters."
Me: "Kendal's the dad."
Jenavieve: "How did you know?"
Me: "The boy's cocky like Kendal on a good day. Its his son."
*SYNOVA TURNS BRIGHT RED AND KENDAL LOOKS DOWN AT HIS FEET*
Zek: "Oh great."
Rei: "Who gave them permission to have monkey kids."
Synova: "Don't you insult my babies."
Zek: "Its not an insult if its true."
Lisa: "Hey I just realized something."
Heather: "What would that be?"
Lisa: "If even Synova got knocked up, surely I must have kids. Where are my brats?"

Jack, Tommy, and Soda Pop instantly knew that Lisa was their mother. Only she would boldly announce that they were brats, and would probably call it a sign of affection.

Jack: "Hey mom."
Lisa: "Hey? Hay is for horses. You tell me hello like a gentlemen. So who do I kill for touching me?"
Tommy: "Our father's name is Peter."
Heather: "Ooo."
Rei: "Figures."
Me: "Its always the quiet ones you have to keep an eye out for."
*REI LAUGHS*
Soda Pop: "But mom, maybe you should know that in the future, your always telling us that you bagged dad. That you chose him, and its because you couldn't choose anyone."
*REI LAUGHS HARDER*
Me: "So you kids say you came through a silver window in the monkey palace?"
Breanna: "Yes, and its all Seth's fault."
Seth: "How is it my fault?!"
Vanessa: "Had you not dared poor Kazuma, he wouldn't have touched it, and we'd be at home in bed. Our parents must be worried sick."
Mocha: "Our parents won't be worried. They're right here."
Seth: "She's talking about our parents in the future idiot."
*REI POPS SETH OVER THE HEAD*
Rei: "Eh! We don't call girls idiots, even if they are."
Keila: "Hey leave my daughter alone."
Jenny: "How do you know she's yours."
Keila: "Hello? She's black!"
Calvin: "Does that mean I'm a dad?"
Me: "Ooo Calvin, already stepping up to the plate of being Keila's baby's daddy."
Calvin: "Oh shut up."
Me: "Well before we do any investigations, we need to figure out which baby belongs to who. So kids, line up, and we'll pair you with your parents. Lisa, Rei, Keila, you've already found yours. So just wait and we'll get things situated."

A few moments later, and all the kids were paired as they should be. Alejandra apologized for hitting Breanna with the branch, Jenny showed her guilt to Sabrina, and so on and so forth. I admit, I was kind of relieved to see that I didn't have a kid in the bunch. I meant I hadn't been touched. I mean, maybe it's just my opinion, but I wouldn't want to figure out who my family would be that way. I'd rather ease myself into it. But I'm getting off topic. After we were all "reunited" we knew we had to do something. It was all a matter of what.

Tyler: "Wait! Silver window? Monkey palace? Don't you know what this means?"
Katie: "The mirror!"
Andelousia: "The what?"
Tyler: "Ya'll don't know what a mirror is?"
*KIDS SHAKE THEIR HEADS*
Tyler: "Then we need to go check it out! That may be the answer to the problem. Katie and I knew that mirror was worth something."
Me: "But its the middle of the night, and I'm sure that the kids must be tired. After all, wouldn't time travel be worse then jet lag? I say we all get some sleep, and work it out in the morning. They're just kids after all. We can't over work them."
Seth: "I'm not a kid. I'm a pre-aged teenager. I'm the closest to being a man."
Me: "Close and maybe don't count."
Bridgett: "Haha, its Ms. Butcher!"

My face scrunched at the sound of that very name. It brought back memories of high school, and how Keila use to find it funny. I couldn't get mad at the kids though. They probably didn't know any better.

Derek: "How do you know that?"
Darien: "Ms. Butcher is the mayor, everyone knows her. She also runs the museum, that sits in City Hall."
Synova: "Ooo, ooo, ooo! I want to know about the future!"
Javier: "No."
Xavier: "You might jinx it."
Azure: "Whats to jinx? Mom just runs a petting zoo."
Zek(SARCASIM): "Now there's a real shocker."
*SYNOVA AND JENAVIEVE STICK THEIR TONGUE OUT AT ZEK*
Me: "Enough. Bed time. All of you. Even the 'said' adults."
*VANESSA AND BREANNA MAKE GOOGLY EYES AT DEIGO*
BREANNA AND VANESSA: "Aww, dad do we have to?"
Alejandra: "Yes. I'm tired. Go to bed."
Vanessa: "Your not daddy."
Alejandra: "Yeah, well daddy didn't push you out to bring you into the world, so he loses be default."
Diego: "Love you too."
*ALEJANDRA LAUGHS*
Rei: "Night."
Zek: "What about the kids?"
Rei: "I pushed them out. You do the rest."

With that being said, we headed to sleep. Not knowing of the mystery that would take place the next day.
