Alrighty, hi again, Gaia. This time, I REALLY DO HAVE s**t TO SAY. I got into CSU (Colorado State University)! This is one of the very few times in my entire life that I have actually felt like I've done something right. =) I'm REALLY excited to move out of my parent's house, and start a new life for myself, almost on my own. Along with College starting, that also means that High School is ending, obviously. I can't help but think back on the four long years, and think how far I've come. I used to be some emo that was frustrated at the lack of romance in my life, now I'm an adult, writing music, and thinking how stupid I was for trying to force things like that. I also realize I may never see a lot of my friends again, and that breaks my heart. I'm almost positive I will cry a little at my graduation. XD Well, that's about it for school. I quit my job at King Soopers back in October! Felt good. After being disrespected for just about three years, I finally grew a pair and told them I was done with it. =) Been enjoying not having a job, even though I rarely have money now. XD Uhh. Romance. Not much. I feel like I'm a freshman again in this aspect, I become completely frozen around a certain someone... This is frustrating for me. XD Uhm... Music! A few posts ago (about a year) I made a post about how I was recording an album, and sadly, that ended up not happening, but this time stuff is different! I still play bass, but I don't have the necessary equipment to record myself. SO! I got a digital studio, and I have been making electronic music! My first four songs are up on youtube here! The track Roboman Saves the Day will NOT be on the album, though. I have the fourth song done, but I will not be uploading it until after the album is complete. I am working on the fifth and sixth tracks right now, and I expect them to be done by mid-March! At that point, I will give the collection of six songs to a friend of mine, and she will make an album cover for it, and I will have an ACTUAL album! =D The album will be called "The Learning Process", seeing as I'm still learning exactly how to use my digital studio. XD Please, please, please, PLEASE believe me when I say that the songs that aren't uploaded are MUCH better. The fourth track is about as repetitive as the first three, but songs five and six will be better, I promise. XD As far as price goes, it is basically free! Copies given over the internet are free, but physical copies will cost as much as the printing cost (i.e; the blank CD, ink used to put the image on the CD, and the container for the CD.). Like I said, I EXPECT the album to be done and ready for distribution by the end of March, but I totally reserve the right to change that at any time. XD Although, I SWEAR, that this is ACTUALLY happening this time! I have just about 75% of it done, and I'm not backing out of it this time. =) On a side note, I may be quitting Gaia. I simply don't really talk to people here anymore, and having an account here seems trivial at this point. SO, if I decide to do this, when the album is released, I will give away all of my Gaia possessions, to those who download the album, and tell me their favorite song, and how I can improve my music, if it's applicable. EDIT: Wow. Just went back and read some of my old journal entries. I was a freaking p***y. XD Wow. Just wow. I can't believe how stupid I was as a Freshman and Sophomore. XD
