Tyler's jacket whirled and zipped through a bizarre portal hidden within the mirror. Being that it wasn't alive it couldn't tell that it was gliding through a hole in time. Years literally passed it by in thin lines of memories. All of which were about us on the island. It revealed at the speed of light of how we aged, learned, and struggled through the battering years in Nyx Village. Which though we didn't know it yet, eventually became known as Nyx Town because of its growth.

- By this time Tyler and Derek had finally installed indoor plumbing into every home from their laboratory called "Evalution"
- The homes were all either adobe brick statures, sturdy log cabins, or cozy cottages all sold by Lisa's real estate business, "Huddle Hub" where her motto is "Anybody could sell you a hut, but I can sell you a home" and Peter became a farmer starting from the seeds and such that were left from the first Christmas
- Since most of us were bursting at the seams, its not wonder Kiera and Thomas made the first elementary school they named "K.T." of course Katie insists its some how named after her, although its truly only their initials set together, and Thomas hoped that if no more kids were born it could stand for kindergarten-twelfth. That plan shot to hell however after Synova couldn't keep her legs shut and Jenavieve made her appearance into the world, later followed by Rei's triplet daughters. So now they're debating whether or not to open a middle school. Kiera also runs a small hand painting portrait business on the side
- Rei and Xavier became partners in their own restaurant/catering business which ended up being called "CocoNutty"
- They're tightly wrapped with Zek, Javier, and Calvin's grocer business.
- Tony opened a blacksmithing business and named it after himself. He often stayed in solitude after Miranda passed away. We named the kid's park after her last name to help cheer him up, but it didn't improve his mood much.
- Alejandra and Katie decided to open their own business named "Tropic Bliss"; here you can get your hair and nails done. It was an instant success
- Which became tightly paired with Keila's Kool Klothes and Toe-Riffic, becoming the only but best beauty team around
- Of course Alejandra wasn't going to let Diego do nothing, so he quickly became police chief at the local prison. Keith spends most of his time there when he isn't playing "temp"
- If ya'll didn't guess that Braulio and Heather stayed in the medical field you need some serious help. With they being the only ones to handle it, they continued running "The Infirmary" which humorously stood beside "GAPS"; Alex and Makaylah's dental practice.
- Jenny found her place in the village after an economy was being put into place. I guess you could say we're the first communist country to be a success...well...kind of. But anyways, she opened a bank named "Sticks and Stones" to remind everyone what our money was made of before we came so far. Of course she hates the fact that she followed in her father's steps even without meaning to
- Kendal worked the night shift at the police station while Synova never gave up seeing her mom again. She continued the search for things that could help get us back to the mainland, especially so her children could meet their grandmother
- As for myself, I'm still judge, and I guess you could say I was mayor. Just a fancy way to say complaint department, but hey I was enjoying my living. I also gave tours of our local museum to show those attending K.T. the events that happened before their birth. From the second we landed till the very day they came.

The biggest change, I think is easy to see, what that we had KIDS! All equally cute and annoying in their own ways. Believe me, I know. I still did a lot of babysitting even to that day. It was unfortunate however, that they ended up with our magnetic attraction to trouble...



(DREAMER'S LAND 2030, 5:32PM, Grove's Park)
Mocha: "Ugh! There's nothing to do."
Rachel: "That's because you're here."
*RACHEL, REINA, AND RENEE LAUGH*
Mocha: "Hey! Seth do something about your sisters! They're picking on me again!"
Seth: "Really Mocha? Your ten years old, but your letting my eight year old sisters pick on you. Your pathetic."
Kazuma: "H-Hey you b-b-big bully! Leave h-her alone. J-Just because you w-w-were the first b-born, and are the o-only eleven year old h-h-here, doesn't mean y-you can be so m-m-mean."
Seth: "I'm just being honest, and am trying to help her out. She's older, she should act like it and stand up for herself. My sister's wouldn't pick on her if they knew she'd stand up for herself."
Bridgett: "But the way your going about it, isn't nice Seth."
Darien: "Your mom wouldn't like it. She's always telling you to be a gentlemen towards girls."
Jack*ADMIRING DARIEN*: "She's right."
Darven: "Plus it could cause her severe emotional trauma that could haunt her every living night for the rest of her life."
*EVERYONE LOOKS TOWARDS DARVEN*
Seth: "What? Look, maybe its not nice, but my parents taught me that you have to be tough to make it. I'm just showing her that."
Mocha: "My name is Mocha, and I am too tough."
Zander: "Oh yeah, flowers must cower down to you."
Renee: "What he said."
Kazuma: "Y-Y-You know what Seth? I-I'm tired of d-d-dealing with you. You t-think your such h-hot stuff, just because y-your older."
Azure: "Relax bro."
Sabrina: "Knock it off you guys. It isn't worth it. If Vanessa and Breanna's dad find you two fighting again, we'll all get in trouble."
*A BRIGHT LIGHT BEGINS TO GLOW IN THE DISTANCE*
Breanna: "What was that?"
Vanessa: "I don't know. But I want to check it out!"
Soda Pop: "It looks like it landed near the monkey quarters."
Azure: "I'm game. How about you guys?"
*AZURE LOOKS OVER AT KAZUMA AND JENAVIEVE*

Kazuma: I can't stay if everyone else is going. I'll look like a chicken.

Kazuma: "Sure..."
Jenavieve: "I've always wanted to go up there! Yes!"
Darien: "I don't know..."
Bridgett: "Our parents would get worried. Dinner is almost ready anyways. They'd notice fast."
Darien: "We're not allowed to leave town anyways. You all know that."
Seth: "Leave it to the teacher's pets to not want to go."
Reina: "They can't help it Seth. Mr. and Mrs. Woods are their mom and dad."
Renee: "But we'll go."
Rachel: "It'd be more fun than sitting here."
Mocha: "Well I don't think its a good idea either. I'm hungry, and I'm not being late to dinner."
Seth: "Oh yeah, your real tough. Can't even miss out on your carrots and peas. You go ahead and stay with Darien and Bridgett then."
Mocha: "I am too tough! To prove it, I'm going, and I bet I'll find whatever it was that made that light first."
Seth: "Your on."
Mocha: "Loser has to do the Winner's homework for a week."
Seth: "Then you better brush up on your science Mocha. I don't like failing."
*MOCHA GASPS AND VANESSA AND BREANNA ARE HALFWAY OUT OF THE PARK*
Breanna: "Hurry up slow pokes!"
Darien: Wait!"
Bridgett: "We change our minds!"
Darien: "We're coming too!"

Slyly the kids began to head down the paths of Nyx Town. Dodging past the shop windows, rushing past their homes, and right on past the sign signaling the entry of the town. Since Jack, Greg, Soda Pop, Holly, and Bridgett had the best access to their jungle maps they lead the way. Since the sun was setting fast it soon became that the only light guiding their way was that of whatever was shining near the monkey palace.

Zander: "Are you sure we're going the right way?!"
Greg: "Sure we're sure."
Andelousia: "Then why aren't we there yet?"
Jack: "Its just taking a little longer than expected. Its dark out you know?"
Soda Pop: "I bet we're getting close though."
Jack: "He's right! Not much farther now."
Rachel: "We would have been there already had my brother lead!"
Mocha: "I would have gotten us there in half the time Seth could."
Seth: "Yeah right!"
Vanessa: "I see it! I see it! I see it!"
Sabrina: "Where?!"
Vanessa: "Right there!"
*VANESSA POINTS TO MONKEY PALACE THROUGH THE LONG BAMBOO*
Zander: "Gosh, could it get any brighter out here?"
Azure: "Don't jinx that."
Zander: "Dads right. Your family is crazy."
Jenavieve: "What?!"
Bridgett: "Enough!

Carefully they headed towards the entry of the monkey castle. All of the monkeys appeared to be deep in their sleep. Almost as though they didn't notice the glowing getting brighter. Some of the kids were defiantly becoming afraid. Especially Kazuma. It wasn't that he was a bad kid. Braulio diagnosed that he had a slight stuttering problem. But assured he'd grow out of it eventually. But unlike his twin Azure he seemed to be more afraid. Synova and Kendal were always trying to tell him never to be afraid. To stand up for himself and for those weaker than him and that one day he could be a great hero. But Kazuma wasn't sure. He wasn't an identical twin. He wasn't as tall as Azure and he seemed slightly thinner and paler. What could Kazuma possibly do? He was probably one of the smallest ten year-old on the island. Vanessa saw how nervous Kazuma was becoming. She grinned, walked to his side, and slipped her hand into his. She may have only been nine years old, but she was fairly brave for her age.

Vanessa(WHISPERING): "Don't worry Kazuma. We're all here together."

Together they walked into the monkey castle. Slowly, quietly, carefully; following the light as it steadily grew brighter.

Mocha: "Are we dying?"
Zander: "Shh!"

They made it across the large center chamber, until they made it to the four halls. The same four halls that Alejandra, Tyler, Kiera, Lisa, Jenny, Synova, Miranda, and Katie had found so long ago. But the light was clearly pouring out of one...that one...the one that Tyler and Katie had chosen.

Soda Pop: "Its kind of creepy."
Jack: "You mean like your face?"
Soda Pop: "Hey!"
Zander: "Shh! Don't bash on his honesty."
*SETH AND MOCHA START TO RACE DOWN THE HALL*
Darven: "Where are you two chaps heading?!"
Sabrina: "Those dorks are going to get themselves killed! Lets go Zander!"
ALL: "Wait for us!"

The mad dash began. Kid against kid, elbow hitting, foot stepping, pushing and shoving. There was no mercy in such a little hall. All of them knew why Seth and Mocha began the race however. I mean come on, would you want to do someone else's homework?Jack was like his mother though. Lisa ran faster than anyone else on the island. He was lucky, and inherited this talent. As though he were the wind, Jack slipped and glided pasted all the others until he was in the lead. All was going great until he found the light, and froze dead in his tracks, and everyone ran into the back of him. For each person that ran into him, he got another inch closer to the mirror, until he was so close his head almost stabbed through its flashing mystery. Luckily however, they all fell avoiding the action.

Bridgett: "Well I guess neither of you win."
Darien: "Which means neither of you lose."
Mocha: "Yeah right! Had Jack not pushed me out of the way I would have so won!"
Seth: "Nah ugh! I would have smoked you like the fish your dad catches for my mom's restaurant!"
Andelousia: "You guys. You guys. You guys!"
BOTH MOCHA AND SETH: "What?!"
Zander: "Look!"

The mirror grew brighter than it had all that night. But it was more than that now. The glassy surface began to twist and almost bend. Like it was pulsing, or heavily breathing. Was it alive? Before anyone could comment, out of no where a black jacket spat out of it, and clobbered Azure in the face.

Azure: "Ouch! Its got me!"
Rachel: "I don't think it likes you very much."
*AZURE TAKES THE JACKET OFF HIS HEAD*
Azure: "What are you talking about it? It gave me a gift."
*AZURE HOLDS UP THE JACKET*
Reina: "An ugly gift."
Breanna: "Who cares? I want to know where it came from."
Darien: "That thing..."
Breanna: "But where did it get it from?"
Mocha: "What is it?"
Darven: "It appears to be something like goop in a frame."
Seth: "Goop? Enough! I'll find out what it is and where it got the ugly jacket."
Greg: "How?"
Seth: "Well...I'm...you see...I'm going to touch it!"
Kazuma: "A-A-Are you sure Seth?"
Seth: "What do you mean, am I sure? I know what I'm doing."
ALL OF REI AND ZEK'S DAUGHTERS: "Yeah!"
Seth: "Unless you'd rather touch it."
Kazuma: "W-W-Who m-me? Oh no."
Vanessa: "Don't worry Kazuma. I'll touch it, to show you its safe."
Seth: "Oh that's real nice. Have a girl do it for you Kazuma. Why don't we just go get your mom so she can baby you forever. I don't see how anyone could say your fit to marry Vanessa one day anyways. Just look at you. Stuttering, blubbering, and stumbling. Why, she's twice the man you are."
Kazuma: "H-Hey! I could it. I-If I wanted to..."
Seth: "Than prove it. I dare you to touch whatever that thing is. If you do it, I'll take back everything I said, and I'll even do your homework for a week. Refuse and I'm allowed to call you a wimp whenever I want and you can't tell anyone."
Jenavieve: "Don't listen to him Kazuma. You don't have to prove anything."

Frustrated, Kazuma felt it was finally time to prove himself. He wouldn't be seen as the weakling ten year old anymore. He was going to prove that even though he was a little small and he stuttered he could do anything the others could. So he clutched his fists, letting go of Vanessa's hand, and marched on up to the mirror. He took a big swallow and prepared himself.

Vanessa: "You really don't have to do this Kazuma. No one will let you get made fun of."

Without another word Kazuma flung his fist at the mirror, and unexpectedly got slurped right into it. Everyone let out a terrified scream.

Vanessa: "Kazuma!!!"
Andelousia: "One of us needs to go help him!"
Jack: "I'll go get help!"
Bridgett: "No, you'll never get them here in time. We need to go now!"
Jenavieve: "You made my brother go in! You get him out!"
Seth: "I didn't make him do anything. He could have said no."
Vanessa: "I'm coming Kazuma!!!"
*VANESSA LEAPS INTO THE MIRROR*
Breanna: "Nessa!!!"
*BREANNA FOLLOWS*
Sabrina: "We all might as well go!"
*SABRINA GRABS ZANDER'S HAND, WHO GRABS ANOTHER UNTIL THERE'S A HUMAN CHAIN GOING INSIDE*

Just as the jacket had before them, the kids began a twisted journey through the lines of time. Where they'd end up. They didn't know...
