Human Weapons
Name/Weight/Caliber/Rounds/Close Range/ Max Range/Slow or Spray/ Other
M6A/.75 kg/12.7 x 40mm/10/30 m/75 m/-/Not useable with MJOLNIR armor, used only by either the security forces in cities and bases or by rebels.
M6B /1kg/12.7 x 40mm/12/30 m/75 m/-/ the KFA-2 x2 scope built into the pistol makes target acquisition much faster by showing magnified image in helmeted mounted Heads Up Display also making it more accurate at farther ranges.(Adds /20m/25m/ to ranges if wearing a helmet with working HUD)
M6C/.75 kg/12.7 x 40mm/12/30 m/75 m/-/ Designed for the home front in mind, this pistol, while still using the hefty 12.7 x 40mm round, it does not have the KFA-2 x2 scope in it like the M6A, but has been up-scaled for use by MJOLNIR armored soldiers.
M6C/SOCOM /1.1kg/12.7 x 40mm/12/30 m/75 m/-/ the KFA-2 x2 scope built into the pistol makes target acquisition much faster by showing magnified image in helmeted mounted Heads Up Display also making it more accurate at farther ranges, but the silencer equipped also reduces accuracy.(Adds /20m/25m/ to ranges if wearing a helmet with working HUD, silencer reduces range by /10m/20m/)
M6D/1 kg/12.7 x 40mm/6/30 m/75 m/Slow 1/Due to the war with the Covenant, several changes have been made to the ‘War Time’ pistol, such as smaller magazine (50% less!) no scope, and very slow firing rate to conserve ammo.
M6G/1 kg/12.7 x 40mm/8/30 m/75 m/-/ the KFA-2 x2 scope built into the pistol makes
target acquisition much faster by showing magnified image in helmeted mounted Heads Up Display also making it more accurate at farther ranges. (Adds /20m/25m/ to ranges if wearing a helmet with working HUD)
M7/1.5 kg/5x23mm Caseless/60/25m/75m/Spray 5/Because of the fully automatic nature of this fire arm, great care is needed to not just ‘spray and pray’ as the gun will want to ‘walk’ upwards. (Stop firing every two turns or pass a dice test to make sure that you have the chance to hit the target.)
M7S/1.5 kg/5x23mm Caseless/45/25m/75m/Spray 5/Because of the fully automatic nature of this fire arm, great care is needed to not just ‘spray and pray’ as the gun will want to ‘walk’ upwards. Also, this is a weapon specialized for the ODST troopers, including a KFA-2 x2 scope built in, a silencer, but also a reduced magazine. (Stop firing every two turns or pass a dice test to make sure that you have the chance to hit the target.)
MA2B/3 kg/9.9 x 62mm/30/25m/250m/Spray 3/ More of a submachine gun than an assault rifle, the MA2B is one of the most jam proof weapons the UNSC has, like this century’s version of the AK-47 in reliability.
MA37/3.2 kg/7.62 x 51mm NATO/32/50m/350m/Spray 3/ Because of the
fully automatic nature of this fire arm, great care is needed to not just ‘spray and pray’ as this will greatly reduce the accuracy. Short controlled bursts are best. (If automatic fare is held for more than 2 turns, range is reduced by 50% until firer stops for one turn)
MA5B/3.3 kg/7.62 x 51mm NATO/60/50m/350m/Spray 4/ Because of the fully automatic nature of this fire arm, great care is needed to not just ‘spray and pray’ as this will greatly reduce the accuracy, especially since it now carries almost twice the ammo capacity as the older MA37. Short controlled bursts are best. (If automatic fare is held for more than 2 turns, range is reduced by 50% until firer stops for one turn)
MA5C/3.2 kg/7.62 x 51mm NATO/32/50m/350m/Spray 3/ Because of the war with the alien race known as the covenant, design changes have been made to the newer MA5 series of weapons for cost effective reasons, like using the smaller magazine of the MA37, and also to prevent jamming. Once again, the fully automatic nature of this fire arm requires great care to prevent ‘spraying and praying.’ Short controlled bursts are the best for accuracy and ammo consumption rate. (If automatic fare is held for more than 2 turns, range is reduced by 50% until firer stops for one turn)
MA5K Carbine/2.5 kg/7.62 x 51mm NATO/30/25m/200m/Spray 3/ This weapon was designed in vehicle crews and special operation groups in mind that have to have smaller, lighter weapons because of their job description. However, because it has many of the MA5B and C characteristics, it CANNOT use said magazines and the smaller barrel reduces stopping power.
M392 DMR/3.5 kg/7.62 x51 NATO/15/150m-50m/1000m-125m/0-3/ This weapon is a Designated Marksman Rifle (DMR). It is meant for eliminating targets further out than what a MA5 can get, but too close for a ’99 to get, or not as important for the ’99. It mainly is for semi-automatic, but can go full auto, but isn’t recommended unless absolutely necessary.
BR55/3.75 kg/9.5 x 40mm/36/75m/700m/3/ This is an updated version of the M392 DMR. Still meant to take out targets further than a MA5 could, it now has a three round burst, higher magazine capacity and new round, it can and will take out tangos with great ease, considering that the scope is only a 2x power.
BR55HB/3.75 kg/9.5 x 40mm/36/100m-50m/900m-300m/0-3-4/ This is an updated version of the BR55. Still meant to take out targets further than a MA5 could, it now has a semi-auto and fully automatic setting in addition to the three round burst along with everything else that the BR55 has.
M45 Tactical Shotgun/5.5 kg/8 gauge shells/6/20m/50m/Slow 1/ Because of the scattering nature of the shotgun, the degree of effectiveness varies. Up close, it is a pump action dealer of death to whoever is on the opposing side, at further distance, the damage to one individual is reduced, but it can hit others nearby, but is completely ineffective past ranges of 50 meters. (reloading shells is two shells per turn of reloading.)
M90 Mk. I/5.8 kg/8 gauge shells/12/20m/50m/Slow 1/ Because of the scattering nature of the shotgun, the degree of effectiveness varies. Up close, it is a pump action dealer of death to whoever is on the opposing side, at further distance, the damage to one individual is reduced, but it can hit others nearby, but is completely ineffective past ranges of 50 meters. (reloading shells is two shells per turn of reloading.)
M90 Mk. II/5.8 kg/8 gauge shells/12/20m/50m/Slow 1/ Because of the scattering nature of the shotgun, the degree of effectiveness varies. Up close, it is a pump action dealer of death to whoever is on the opposing side, at further distance, the damage to one individual is reduced, but it can hit others nearby, but is completely ineffective past ranges of 50 meters. (reloading shells is two shells per turn of reloading.)
M90A/5.4 kg/8 gauge shells/6/20m/50m/Slow 1/Because of the scattering nature of the shotgun, the degree of effectiveness varies. Up close, it is a pump action dealer of death to whoever is on the opposing side, at further distance, the damage to one individual is reduced, but it can hit others nearby, but is completely ineffective past ranges of 50 meters. Also, to encourage the use of accurate shooting, a permanent plug has been inserted to reduce the magazine to 6 shells. (Reloading shells is two shells per turn of reloading.)
SRS99 AM/12.4 kg/14.5 x 114mm/4/500m/3000m/Slow 1/
Besides for guided missiles and MAC guns, this is the soldier’s ultimate ‘reach out and touch someone’ weapon. With a Max range of 3 klicks, any infantry that gets in the crosshairs is already dead.
99C-S2/12 kg/14.5 x 114mm/4/500m/2750m/Slow 1/ Small
design changes have made this weapon more production friendly that the older model, but also comes with a low light scope and small motion tracker. Still capable of neutralizing an enemy past 2.5 kilometers, it is the only thing smaller than heavy artillery that will get the job done.
99C-S2 B/12 kg/14.5 x 114mm/4/250m/2500m/Slow 1/ Once
again, the war has taken it’s toll on quality. No longer having the night vision or the motion tracker, it is still capable of taking out tangos out at 2.5 kilos.
99D-S2 /11.8 kg/14.5 x 114mm/4/250m/2300m/Slow 1/
Although the range has once again been reduced, the overall quality of the rifle has been better than the 99C system, since it includes a IR scope and a range finder and simple target data like the elevation and range.
M41/13.2 kg/102mm rockets/2/50m/300m/Slow 1/ The M41 rocket
launcher is one of the best heavy weapons a soldier could ask for. Having two rockets to fire per reload and the ability to lock onto manned vehicles and machine gun (and other similar weapons) positions, it is one of the best fire and forget weapons available to the UNSC. (to lock on, spend two turns aiming, but the target gets a chance to spot the firer before they fire, also, it takes 2 turns to reload.)
M19/12 kg/102mm rockets/2/50m/300m/Slow 1/Pen 4/ Area 5/
This is a very simple incarnation of the M41 rocket launcher meant for mass production. It no longer carries the onboard targeting computer needed to make the 102mm HEAT missiles lock onto targets, but it is lighter than the older model.
102mm High-Explosive Anti-Tank/1.5 kg/-/1/1/1 The ammunition for both the
M41 and M19 rocket, which had a tracking feature built in and can only be activated from a M41.
M9 High-Explosive Dual-Purpose Grenade/.4 kg/-/1/15m/30m/Slow 1/ Pen 2/
Area 3/ The standard grenade of the UNSC for several hundred years, in one form or another. Although there are some differences between the different types of M9s, all are used in the same manner and are activated in the same way. (M9s can be riccoched into areas where the other types of grenatdes do not.)
M247GPMG-H/10 kg/7.62x51mm/250 drum/250m/1100m/spray3/
This version of the 274 can be mounted on many different platforms including the Pelican, the mount shown here, the Scorpion tank, and several other ways. Good against troops and light vehicles, but not against armor, so be careful with what you fire at. (Regular model needs to take a turn off every 4 turns or the gun can damage itself. Heavy version can shoot spray 4 and doesn’t need to cool down.)
AIE-486H/37.6 kg/7.62x51mm SLAP/2,000 per belt/350m/1500m/spray3
This Gatling system with its relatively slow firing rate is never in need of cooling down. Perfect for sustained fire.
M7057 Defoliant Projector/ 45 kg/ 7057 fuel canister/ 100 fuel units/ 15m/
50m/10 units a turn/ One of the most feared weapons by troops, the M7057 D.P. is now normally used by construction crews to remove heavy vegetation, but can be easily used by anyone as it is truly a ‘spray and pray’ weapon, assuming the person can lift it.
Underbarrel M45 /.75 kg/ 8 gauge shell/3/5m/20m/slow 1/ When you don’t have time to switch to your shotgun, this is the next best thing. Basically half a shotgun mounted on the underside of a MA or BR type weapon, it is invaluable in close quarters.
M301 Grenade Launcher/.5 kg/40mm grenade/1/20m/75m/slow 2/Pen 2/ Area 3/
for those times when you need the grenade to blow up as soon as possible and to go a long ways without having to switch the bigger M319. Less accurate and range, but more handy, this can fit under any MA5 or BR55 type rifle.
M319 /2.5 kg/ 40mm grenade/1/30m/150m/ slow 2/Pen 2/Area 3/
bigger than the M301, this grenade launcher can do a few more things than its smaller cousin. It can be programmed to ricochet around and then blow up, causing an EMP pulse along with the explosives, and it can go a lot farther more accurately.
M510 6shot Grenade Launcher/3.5 kg/ 40mm grenade/6/30m/150m/slow 1/ Pen 2/ Area 3-/The ultimate grenade launcher that a marine can carry, the M510 can hold 6 grenades at one time and function just as the M301, although reloading takes a bit longer. (3 turns to reload, or 2 grenades per reload)
(Imagine a Shaving Cream can that dispenses foaming explosives)C-7 Foaming Explosive/.45 kg/-/3 uses/-/-/-/Pen 5/ Area 5/ Used when creating a passageway through a wall or, if crazy enough, to use on enemies.
C-12 Shaped Charge/5 kg/ -/ 1/ -/ -/ -/ Pen 7/ Area 7/ Used when a building
absolutely has to be demolished. Works on tanks and infantry too, if it is placed correctly.
M168 Demolition Charge/5 kg/ -/ 1/ -/ -/ -/ Pen 9/ Area 9/ Used when a
building absolutely has to be demolished. Works on tanks and infantry too, if it is placed correctly.
