Karnival is always a bustling place. Air ships constantly landing and lining the docks, laughter and adrenaline spilling out over the sides. From the air, strings of lanterns and streamers dyed with the most vivid of inks are hung. Color, sound, and stimuli all strike at once to produce a carefree and almost child-like sensation. Cliché pin stripe tents are all lined up to offer promises of sweets, mischief, and mysticism.
Not to mention the characters that walk down the cobble streets. There are boys who look up skirts and men who look down shirts; tall people and not-so-tall people; bearded women and double-jointed gentlemen. At any single moment, one can observe the man who uses his body as a canvas or the exotic dancer who tells tales of faraway islands.
