* Anyone surprised the Democrats gave up on funding the government via the annual Spending Bill rather than fight the Republicans for it? Why fight when you can cave, right?

* Looks like I'm getting a huge BPAL order as a Solstice prezzie. This is good, as there were a bunch of things I'd wanted to try, but couldn't.

* They plan to vote on DADT repeal Saturday. A special thank you Congressmen to John Lewis of Georgia for his speech on DADT Repeal.

* A huge pile of bureaucracy arrived today. I haven't the heart for it.

* Not surprisingly, Christian congressional Democrats are now pissed off at being accused of sacrilege for wanting to work on the imaginary christian holiday the Republicans randomly declared for the Ides of December.
