Broken Angels Prayer
Sadness and sorrow… Lost but broken… The atmosphere has suffocated. Aged by time, a beautiful cathedral… Forever, the rain is falling Upon scattered feathers, that rest on ice stone floors. Of angels whose wings were stolen. I stand within the ruined walls, and listen to the whispers calling. On my knees, I fall, in front of a tattered alter. By this unspoken prayer, silence is broken…
Heavenly Father, May air, breathe into a broken spirit… Fire, feed a shattered soul… Earth, give strength to the weak… And water, bring peace to a restless mind… Elements of Mother Nature, Help and guide us. For our wings have been torn.
Through the wind and the storm, Guide us back to the place Where broken angels learn to fly again; To a weeping meadow where true beauty is born In the eyes of our Father.
Pain reflects in the eyes like an iridescent candle. Scars of past are bequeathed by the hands of the nameless, For their hearts are submerged in sculpture. And in time, their souls have tarnished. Yet judgment is not made by those who Speak in the tongue of forgiveness. Trapped in stone, their souls will lie The weeping angels who for refuge, they cry. A place they desire to take homage and claim a home.
United in prayer do we sing so silently…
Heavenly Father, May air, give breath to our wings, Make them eternally whole once more… Fire, offer life with your tender undying compassion, Protect us with your warmth… Earth, bestow us the power of truth To see pass masquerades unrealized... And water, cleanse the body and bless thy name Forevermore, we are your children. Elements of Mother Nature, Help and guide us. For our wings have been singed.
Human we are; mistakes will be made. For destiny calls for such fate. In secrete, Sinner is that of our name, And for that we are angels who have been broken. Whispers…guide us to the place Where broken angels learn to fly again; To a weeping meadow where true beauty is born In the eyes of our Father.
For can you hear this angel cry…
On Heaven and Earth, In the Father and the Hold Spirit, In God’s name we pray, Amen.
