(BACK IN THE COURTYARD)
Keith: "Will you hurry up already?! Its 11PM. We must start the coorination in a half an hour. We don't have time for you to slugishly move along!"
*OUR FRIENDS GROAN (AGAIN)*
Rose: "Oh master, why are you in such a rush. Your coorination will happen in time. You've already won the battle."
Keith: "But not the entire war. Some of those miserable fools are still roaming about the grounds. Didn't you see the drama they caused here minutes ago? They catch that disgusting wort hag and the newly found cripple.
Rose: "Oh you mean Rei and Zek?"
Keith: "Of course I mean Rei and Zek!!! Until all of them are locked in shackles, kneeling in front of this stage, that means that still have even a speck of hope in which to take me down. Something in my gut tells me I'm going to lose."
Rose: "What would make you say that master?"
Keith: "Rosie, I know that your magical assistance is only until midnight passes. But I can't help but feel like I should feel all powerful now. For some reason, I feel weakened some how. Like I'm being drained. My body keeps moving, but my mind is going a stray even without my wanting to. I'll admit to only you that for a small period in time in the dressing room, I had completely forgotten about my goal. It wasn't until that stupid idiot Kendal burst in that I remembered. Before that I didn't know or even cared what I was doing..."

Rose: Yes...its working. I know can control his thought patterns. Which means that in 20-30 minutes his souls is mine for the taking. Along with all of these ignorant humans. The souls of the ghost boy and girl who are now trapped in my very own soul, the souls of all of these hideous beasts before me, and the original soul of this cocky boy. They don't realize its me yet. That is slowing them down. Their energy and mind are slowly fading from their own command and sinking into mine. If returning with all this human power doesn't win me my rightful place back home, nothing will...and it will only get better with time. Once I'm able to pass freely I'll return for the souls of everyone else on the island. I won't have to worry about the rest of the world. Since I have no intention on sharing how to steal a human form.

Keith: "Rose...Rosie...are you even listening to me?!"
Rose: "Oh, my apologies master. Just like you...I have often been as you might call it 'blanking out'. I'm not sure whats causing it."
Keith: "Oh well...so long as my goal is met I don't care. I'll go back to being human, they'll remain this way, and eventually I'll go home knowing I won."
Rose: "Of course master...of course..."

(IN A HALLWAY)
Rei: "Ugh, don't you two think you could have found a better way of abducting us?! A monkey stole my shoe, and worse almost bit my ankle!"
Tony: "We have about 25 minutes to stop Keith, and your worried about a shoe?"
Zek: "Enough! We have to stop that f** outside. We're the only ones left. If we fail the whole plan goes up in smoke. But clearly we can no longer follow the plan, because Keith's already outside waiting to be crowned."
Miranda: "Soo...."
Tony: "We'll have to wing it."
Zek: "Exactly."
Rei: "Ugh I blame Synova and Kendal for this!"

They began to make their way down the hall. Each window they passed they looked outside to see how much time was left. Not much...they hadn't a choice. All they could do was march out, fight, and hope like h*** they could win...They settled themselves next to the enterance, and watched as Xavier, Derek, Javier, Thomas, Kiera, Braulio, Synova, Kendal, Heather, Keila, Calvin, and myself were pulled along, and sat in front of the stage. I'll admit that on one hand, I was happy to see them all. But on the other hand, I was worried. Only six people remained out there...or so I thought...

(IN FRONT OF THE STAGE)
Me: "Oh my gosh, you guys!"
MANY PEOPLE AT ONCE: "Tiff!"
Me: "So you guys got caught huh?"
Synova(HEAD STILL IN A JAR): No, some of us were used as failing sacrafises!"
Me: "Calm down. Hopefully this will all be over in a matter of minutes. I'm sure that Rei, Zek, Lisa, Peter, Tony, and Miranda won't let us down."
Xavier: "Well..."
Me: "What?"
Xavier: "Fortune cookie and Peter...kind of...sort of...got captured and are now trapped in the staff..."
Me: "What?!"
Braulio: "They couldn't catch them physically because they were ghosts....so they just absorbed them into the orb."
Me: "Your meaning to tell me the my fortune cookie and my peinguin are trapped inside that overly shimmered hunk of space mystery?!"
Kendal: "Yeah..."
Me: "Oh you all better hope we lose now, because if Lisa and Peter are dead or even slightly hurt, Rei will kick your a** far worse than Keith, because you let her french poodle get captured!"
Keith: "Silence! My coorination is beginning. Watch as the moon steadily rises to the center of the sky. With this staff I will become king and will rule over this island. I am however, a sympathic guy, and have decided to give you all one last chance to get on my good side."
*KEITH POINTS THE STAFF AT SYNOVA'S JAR, BLASTS IT OPEN, THEN MAGICAL MAKES HER BODY RECONNECT BUT STILL ONLY AS A SKELETON*
Keith: "Synova, lets face it this all started because of that moron in a jar."
*POINTS TO KENDAL*
Keith: "You shouldn't want to be with a klutz like him. He has a girl's name for crying out loud! But I...I am about to become a king. Choose my, and you can have anything you want. Servants, exotic birds, riches, it'll all be ours. Not only that, but if you choose me I'll find you a far more attractive form, like so."

With a wave of that staff she was surrounded by a twister of magic. Once it cleared Synova was human again. With a long, flowing, silky like gown. More golden jewelry than there seemed to be skin, and a tiara that was...to put it simply...I would have so jacked her at that moment for it! It shimmed with rubies, and glimmered with the essance of pure gold and magic. If it weren't Keith making the offer, I would have totally said yes.

Keith: "What do you say Synova? You can have all of this if you'll only choose me."

Synova looked down, at her hands, the dress, and jewelry, she even took off the tiara and studied it closely. Had I not known any better, I would have thought she was actually considering his offer.

Synova: "No Keith! I'm not trading in my friends just to have a few shiny objects."

With that being said, she chucked her tiara, and it bashed Keith right upside the head. While he was distracted, we felt something odd around our wrists. We turned, to see that it was Miranda and Rei with a ring of keys, unlocking the shackles. At this moment, I was actually glad to be stuck on an island with my friends; and before Keith could respond, our "knights in monster form" came bursting through the door.

Zek: "Get him!"

We did just that. Lunging off the ground, we all headed for Keith.

Keith: "So you want a fight do you? Monkies attack!"

So there we were. Many of us, going fist to fist with an army of flying monkies of all sorts. If none of you believe this happened, I understand. To this day I still am not sure. Anyways, in the middle of our battle, something odd began to happen. Rays of sparkling pink magic came flooding out of Alejandra in the others who were still sitting on the floor. They appeared old, weak, and d*** I've never seen so many wrinkles. It was as if they were being drained. When I looked down, I realized it was slowly happened to me too. What was going on?! Slowly things became blury for myself, Keila, Calvin, and even the rest of us. Only Tony, Miranda, Rei, and Zek seemed uneffected. Many of us tried to continue fighting, but one by one we seemed to drop like nothing more than rain hitting a sidewalk.

Keith: "What the h*** is going on?
*ROSE LAUGHS WICKEDLY IN THE BACKGROUND*
Zek: "Its that f****** staff! Its draining life!"
Rose: "Very good human. I'm wishing you could have found me instead of this blundering idiot. You seem far more intellegent, and even handosme."
Rei: "Hey don't be talking about my twin like that! He's not that good looking, and hes dumb as a post some times!!!"

Randomly, Zek hurled himself onto the stage, and began to wrestle Keith, who no longer had control of his own body. On the ground, Xavier, Javier, Miranda, and Heather still remained fighting. Heather who was practically on her knees, just pushing the monkey away. Miranda, throwing punches in any which direction, Javier leaving deep wounds, and if I didn't know any better I'd say my son was having a feild day. Xavier was leaving scraps, gushing bite marks, I'm not sure but I think he even scooped an eye out of its socket. I wanted to help, but weakly I laid with the others, as my mind faded away.

Tony: "We have to help!"
Rei: "How...?"

Tony looked at Rei, and thought to himself once again. What could they do? When it hit him. He remembered earlier. When he lifted me from the ground, and chucked me outside the palace. If he aimed just right then maybe...just maybe...he could hit Keith. Instantly, having nothing else to throw, he clutched Rei's shoulder's and bounded into the air. Rei screaming just as I had ealier.

Rei: "What the f*** are you doing?! Put me down!!!"
Tony: "Gladly."

Higher, higher, and still higher up into the air he dashed until finally he twisted at an angle, and chucked Rei downward, luckily landed right on top of Keith, who had the air ripped from his chest. But he wasn't done. Zek couldn't handle the rest of the match. Keith almost had his entire arm torn from his body. So down he glided, scooped Keith by his shoulder, making Rei roll across the stage. Up as high as the tallest towers they went. Rose still absorbing life in his hand.

Rose: "Oh no you don't, you will not defeat me!"

She lashed a strong bolt of lightning through Keith's body and into Tony's. He was about to drop them both, but he knew he couldn't. There was only a minute left. 11:59 had come. It was win or lose now. No mistakes could take place. So with the best of his ability he tore open Keith's chest, blood gushing outward, grabbed the staff, and dropped Keith, letting him land with a thud. As fast as he could, Tony darted to the tower, still be zapped, burned, and absorbed. But with the last energy he had, bashed the orb against the side of the tower. It cracked and released a light far brighter than any we had seen.

Rose: "No!!!!"

What happened next? I couldn't tell you for sure. The light covered everything, and blinded us all. It was a blistering blast of pink. Wind surrounded us all, and it felt so far from familiar. As though we were moving through demensions, or time. The last thing I heard was a deafing screech. But next thing I knew...

*I JOLT UPWARD, MAKING MYSELF SIT IN THE DIRT, SURROUNDED BY THE OTHERS, WHO SEEMED TO BE DOING THE SAME THING*

We looked around at each other. The once eloquent palace was once again a pile of house shaped dirt. The monkies were no where to be seen, nor were Alejandra and the others. Where did they all go? We were all human again, and seemed fine. Zek's arm was even fully attached again.

Me: "Was it..."
Xavier: "Just a dream...?"
Kiera: "No!"

We looked to the area that Kiera was pointing, and saw Tony. Laying across the dirt, seriously bruised and burnt. Beside him laid Lisa and Peter. Who looked exhausted but all right.

Me: "We need to get them to the infirmary!"

So we did. We took them to the camp, and got them under medical care. But was this all a horrible dream...or an odd reality...? Would we ever know...?
