•In eight years,George Bush tanked America's economy.
•In 18 months (one year and six months),Barack Obama is being pressured to fix all the economic issues.
•The concept of the Republican Party is supporting giving less money to schools, hospitals, retirement homes and etc. through power to the people.
•The concept of the Democratic Party is supporting more power to the government and giving more money to schools, hospitals, retirement homes and etc. through taxes.

On November the second (11/2/10) the Democrats were voted out of the House of Representative and the Senate. Both houses are now mostly Republican, and if Obama were to try to pass a law to help minorities, the houses could say no and end it. There is no chance of fighting for a bill now,and there will most likely be a grid-lock between the houses and the president. Allthewhile, the jobless, middle class and lower class minorities will suffer the most while the wealthier white people will be giving praise for being one step closer to getting the coloured president out of office and getting a lighter-skinned person in. Every Democrat and Independent person who didn't vote should feel most at fault.

Since Obama has been president, the American economy has avoided the double-dip recession we were predicted to have by Economists, and we are far from having another Depression. Most Republicans want to give tax benefits to the rich and middle-class,which means less money for the government to spend on Health Care and other things, and that the upper and middle class get to keep more money in their pockets. Obama wants the rich to pay more and give the tax breaks to the middle and lower-class in the hopes of paying off the deficit, which would mean that the middle and lower-class would have to pay less on taxes. But still—I guess that the people want the wealthiest to survive alone.
