One year ago...Lou Albano died.

True, it says that he died on October 14, but it wasn't until October 23 that the entire public really found out about it.

Some of us remember him from the WWE (then WWF), and some of us remember him for playing Mario on the Super Mario Bros. Super Show. Some of us remember him for "Captain Lou's Corner." Some of us remember him when he held the WWWF Tag Team Title with Tony Altimore (strangely, it's the only belt he's ever carried). And some of us remember him for the large gambit of wrestlers and tag teams that he had managed over the years until his retirement in 1995.
