To the general populace of gaia: You are an ignorant, immature collection of human beings incapable of engaging in a civilized exchange of opinions. There are exceptions, but most of you couldn't gracefully handle being proven wrong in a debate or discussion even if your life depended on it.
Do you understand the concept of critical thinking? Of questioning authority and the information it feeds you? Of not taking mass opinion as unassailable truth?
Do you understand that a difference of opinion does not mean the other party is ripping you apart and being a raging p***k?
Do you understand that a thousand people believing a stupid thing means that what they believe is still a stupid thing, and that your own beliefs and opinions are not an exception?
Do you understand that, sometimes, you are wrong ******** wrong and no amount of argument or denial on your part will change that?
Do you have any understanding at all of how to accept that as a universal human trait from which you are not, and will never be, exempt?
Do you understand that it is possible to change your opinion if you're wrong and that it is not the end of the world if you do so?
Do you even understand that the world is considerably more complicated than the simplistic answers the mass media disgorges as divine wisdom?
Do you even understand that, most of the time, the simple answers provided by the mass media are patently false and intentionally misleading?
Go read something nonfiction (and this does not include religious books like the Torah/Bible/Quran/Bhagavad Ghita/etc, because those are codified mythology, and all mythology is fiction). Educate yourselves, you ******** lack wits.
