finally back from DC! ^^ but i have absolutely no idea what day it is, or what on earth is happening this week haha.
'twas interesting........ rate it between the suckiness of mexico and the awesomeness of the first dc trip. on this one you could really tell where the money came into play (no essay contest... all you had to do was pay early enough and you were in for this one)... so many preps. stare and all they ever talked about was sex and were a constant annoyance. on the bus ride home they were pulling each others' pants down, too....... (fun trivia: a couple from ohio got caught having sex on one of the couches in the rec room... ew.)

but other than that little blemish, 'twas great! biggrin made lots of new friends (even one named Jenna! x]) and learned a lot more about DC that i didn't know before. even managed to make a 6-page newsletter in an hour..... that was INTENSE. @.@ w/ a group of about a dozen other people, we did it! biggrin everyone else wrote articles/took pictures, and it was up to me and two other girls to put it all together. *big sigh* i was literally on the verge of passing out several times during that hour, and after we were done i felt like laughing and crying at the same time.
then mom and i drove into the heart of that huge thunderstorm last night. it was scarily epic, i guess.... turns out at home a tree fell across the driveway, so we had to take the alternative way onto the yard...
speaking of the farm, now it looks like we'll be staying here for good instead of moving. the P's don't know s**t about farming and they're wrecking all of our nice equipment and just aren't doing so hot............. ????
unusual amount of cussing during the week by the other kids. led to some colorful language whilst waiting for the newsletter to get done lol.
church was fun, didn't actually have a service, just played music the whole time. decided i hate the sound of my instrument. =/
4-H tonight!!! biggrin i'm working on getting everything together for it....
making a terrarium and doing a presentation on my trip... & this is usually our biggest meeting of the year (the one right before the fair), so should be interesting.
monies! check is nice from work, going to get some money from the 4-H club for the DC trip and arts-in...
speaking of which, I MADE IT!!!! whee got an email the other day saying i'm now in State Arts-In! woot! now they'll just decide my major, and I'll be good to go... apparently there's lots of people who went to CWF that are also gonna be artsies so this should be interesting. x]
