Welcome to Latrobe city. It used to be a small town, but it expanded suddenly when NexCorp, a large new corporation, built their headquarters right in the middle of town. In only a few short years, Latrobe was a bustling city.
Unfortunately, with the sudden expansion, the city became cramped. There were too many people in one place, without enough jobs or houses for all of them. Crime rates sky rocketed. Mobs, mafia and gangs ruled the streets at night, and cops kept up with the crime during the day.
The first masked vigilantes appeared eleven years ago and they paved the way for others to follow in their footsteps. Thanks to them, everyday folks rose up to fight corruption and crime. But where there is light, there is also darkness. Criminals and madmen also began donning costumes to fight back.
Here in Latrobe city, the city of heroes, new vigilantes and criminals are born everyday. Who are you?
