	The Muse's Musings Um... it's a journal... it'll have my thoughts... my interests... my worries... and some ideas for books or something probably.

	Love?

How can you tell if you're in love? Is it when you care about someone so much, your heart bleeds for them whenever they're in any form of pain? I've felt that way about a lot of people. A lot of guys. Is it when you can picture, really picture your future with them in it? Been there too. What about when you can't imagine your life without them? There are only a few people I have ever felt that way about. My grandmother, for one, My little sister, for another... and my best friend, Matt. He's always been there for me. I met him in my sixth grade year. He was in the fourth grade. And he was the first friend I made, in this tiny school that I was so new to. It had a total of 75 students that year. It really was a small school. But it was a nice one. Still is, though it doesn't do the middle school grades anymore. But it's a school where most of the kids who attend there, have been attending there since kindergarten. Some even longer than that. They all grew up together. So walking into that kind of environment, being the new kid after you'd just gotten used to your previous school, was horribly lonely. You get treated like a leper when you're new and no one knows you. It's even worse when you become the one with the top grades in the class after only a few days. Then they think that on top of an outsider freak of nature, you're a teacher's pet as well. Well, Matt didn't seem to think that. He was the first person to come up and ask me if I wanted to hang out with him and his friends. He's still a really sweet guy. And he's... important to me. Very few have had the privilege of having that good of a friend. And lucky me, I have two. My other best friend Ariel. She's the one who got me hooked on Gaia. Oh, and funny thing, I got Matt hooked on it too. He doesn't rp, but he loves gaia. But anyway. How do you know when you're in love? I'd really like to know, so that I know what to look for... or if I don't have to look for it too far... at least I'll be able to know what step to take next... I think.
