As I journey I learn the meaning,
a heart leaps off a page, and flutters around
nothing is as it should.

you continue learning, and growing
life taking you in many directions,
the only thing missing is your heart
you search for it more then you should
trying to find that thing you are missing

as you think you've found it something leaps off the page
and everything you knew is now wrong.

you grow older and learn to fight for what you want,
but as you fight you scare away many,
you try to find that happiness you once had or always wanted
but as you find that happiness again something will always ruin it
dropping you in a pit alone to fend for yourself.

I hope one day I find that pure happiness I always search for, but I hope I never lose it when I finally have it.
