The Interrogation
Soon, very soon, the time will come.The time when darkness will overcome the light and it's reign will finally begin!
"Rixa, I've been looking for you!"
Rixa had been laying down on a tree branch, listening to her music and almost forgetting the world.It was the only time she felt like she was at peace with herself and everything around her.The wind blowing softly, the branches creaking, and the birds singing their sweet melodies...
"Rixa!"
She opened her eyes and looked down, seeing Riku below and yelling for her to come down.She groaned at being disturbed, but jumped down anyway.The days had been going by too slow for her to stand it ever since she had been "grounded" by DiZ.She was beginning to dislike him, but she knew she couldn't do much as long as Riku needed him around.Once she was on the ground again, Riku approached her.
"Come on.DiZ needs to talk to you about something.", he said, sounding a little anxious in his tone of voice, "You need to hurry."
"Alright, Riku.Geez, calm down.I'll go, I'll go!"
She headed back to the mansion.DiZ would most likely be in his tudy and she walked in the direction of it.It would be the first time she had goe inside, since she wasn't allowed in there.Neither was Riku, so she yearned to satisfy her curiosity.DiZ was too secretive and she wished she could know more.Being tired of having to begged Riku for information he wouldn't give, it was time for her to get DiZ to talk.DiZ waited for her to arrive, having a file in his hands.Rixa amused him ever so much.He had never realized that the darkness could have a form, besides having the need for a vessel.Just like Ansem was, Riku had become a vessel long ago, but Rixa...Rixa was different.He hoped to know more about her and expected to find out once he interrogated her.The door creaked open and Rixa poked her head inside.
"Come in, Rixa.Have a seat.", he said, pulling out a chair for her.
"Yeah, sure, whatever.Let's get down to business.", she said, sitting down and putting her feet on the table, "You wanted to talk to me.What about?"
"Rixa, I know we haven't been on the best of terms.I'm sorry for that.Now...", he whispered, "I wanted to ask you a few things.Riku informed me that you weren't a Nobody, unlike your fellow Organization members.He told me that you were the embodiment of darkness.Am I right?"
"And your point being?So what if I am?"
"Rixa, darkness has always been in need of a vessel.It cannot survive on its own unless it has a human heart it can easily control.But unlike Riku, the darkness flows within you just like a life force.I am trying to understand how this can be."
"Doesn't matter one bit to me if you don't understand how I work.I am me, that's all."
"Rixa, you must understand!You are the very source of the darkness that lies in people's hearts.You control it of your own free will and not once has it affected you negatively!You can even control minions created from the very darkness that you are.Help me understand this!"
"It is not for you to understand me, DiZ.", Rixa answered, her voice sounding different, "Darkness is what it is.It can consume just as it can control.Just because it cannot create like the light can doesn't mean it cannot change.Light cannot exist without darkness, there must be a balance.Darkness is not evil.It has only been perverted by those with curel intentions.If one has malice in his heart, then that malice turns against the person and destroys their very core."
"Yes, Rixa.Yes!But tell me, how do you know all this?"
"I am me, DiZ.", she said, "Nothing more."
She left the room and headed to where Riku was.Diz had been surprise with how Rixa responded to his questions.He thought Riku had lied about her having two sides, but now it had been proved.
"Like two sides of a coin...Rixa, you are most interesting."
