"Garden of Life"

A rose can represent your life,
the petals are like memories,
blooming in the summer night,
or darkness keeps you withering,

the colors change and seasons pass,
the clouds will cry so you can breathe,
while gardens hold you in their grasp,
trapped by soil so you can't leave,

but the ground below you is your faith,
you sprout thorns to protect yourself,
reflecting beauty in your face,
but your heart will reveal something else,

underneath controlled deception,
lay the roots of pain and sorrow,
without consent of self direction,
bouquet of lies awaits tommorow,

I pray you remember you're unique,
no other flower shines like you,
the kiss of spring will brush your cheek,
while dreams of happiness come true,

time will heal a broken heart,
release the shackles from your feet,
to stop the tears before they start,
and set your spirit wild and free,

And as life blooms,remember this,
I promise you'll find happiness.
