So I felt compelled to write it and so I did. Virgil, the man that the kingdom has come to love and embrace is a liar. He has been lying to you all along about his ridiculous birthright, his glorious endeavors, and his majestic charm. Virgil isn't a prince, no Virgil is Deq, the most ridiculous thief alive. No man knows because he doesn't think deeper, no man sees because he doesn't look further, No man perceives this because he lacks perception. For once in his life, his fake one in the palace, he is enjoying the great food presented to him. Women falling at his feet, they admire him for everything he is and everything that he isn't. They fill his garments with the greatest of scents, which only brings in even more women to fall at his feet. How did this pathetic man enter the palace? How can one that is not of noble birth live among the kings and princes. Well its easy, forgery. Deq re-wrote his patents of nobility and with it he changed his name. He became known as Virgil. Women love men that can fight vigorously in combat, and there's no doubt, Virgil was spectacular. Upon witnessing his unfathomable potential in the greatest of all competitions, Virgil instantly became powerful candidate. However, this does not change who he is. After his latest extraordinary feet, he's captivated Royalty. Rumors spread in the dark corners that he has it in him to be a prince, and maybe someday the rightful king which this kingdom needs, however being surrounded by Royalty has been... a double edged sword. Shall I describe Royalty? Such a beautiful palace, such amazing power, such magnificent beauty. How can a thief with dirty hands mingle with justice, beauty, and power? A thief cannot, though he masquerades himself as a knight, a noble man, a lord. Deq's hands are dirty and full of blood. In his heart lies the souls which he's watched and consumed, but then he stares at Royalty and he sees that not only is he not worthy. Royalty and Thievery cannot co-exist together, for then there would be no justice, or mercy. On the contrary, what Deq must do, is stay far away from Royalty but close at the same time. He must create an impossible divider and between this divider is a chasm. Royalty cannot cross over and neither can the filthy thief. This is his destiny, to forever stare at what he longs for and to never have it. This, is what Deq has embraced. For now he remains in the palace, closer then ever to Royalty, however as time continues, he will step outside of its doors and move in the appropriate position so that everything can fall into place.
--- hope you enjoyed that, another one of my ridiculous ramblings.
