Last night I had a dream about you
In this dream I'm dancing right beside you
And it looked like everyone was having fun
the kind of feeling I've waited so long
Been awhile since I've written one of these. Dream activity just isn't what It used to be. Makes me sad.
But I had a good dream last night.
I was at school. It wasn't like my normal school, though. Much more fancy, and cooler. It was the end of the day, and I was outside waiting for the bus to pick me up to go home. While walking to my usual spot where I wait, I notice a group of people I know getting inside a gold-trimmed limo. Faintly, I can hear a voice inside proclaiming "Congratulations, you've been invited to a party at the Knight House!"
I had never heard of this Knight House before, and mused out loud as to what it was. Someone responded that it's a large building/organization used for throwing parties on a very grand scale. Very hi-tech, very fun, and quite a privileged. And then I was able to imagine the place and said "Oh yeah, I remember it now."
Because they were all people I knew, I wondered if the party-thrower was one of my friends, and then was sad that I did not appear to be invited. BUT THEN this dude in a motorcycle pulls up and asks my name "Izzy W.?". Surprised and unsure, I hesitantly reply yes. His response: "Congratulations, you've been invited to a party at the Knight House!" My god, I was ecstatic. And he was a really cute guy.
He going to be escorting me there on his bike! It was made special by the Knight House, for those being escorted to be able to sit in front of the driver. Or maybe he was just really big and I really small. I am rather short in real life...
So he's driving along, top-speed, zooming past everybody, doing all these fantastic stunts and jumps and tricks. At one point he started hitting speed boosts (think Mario Kart) and boxes to pick stuff up. He continues faster than ever, picking up speed, till we hit a giant ramp, and he jumps directly into the Knight House! And then my vision sort-of fades and I can hear a digital female voice saying "Welcome to the Knight House. Enjoy your stay with us..."
Next thing I know, I'm playing video games in a waiting room. The guy has gone off to put away the bike, as he doesn't have any other escorts to do for the rest of the day. He comes back, and says that the party guys are having a few technical difficulties, and that everyone off in their entry zones, just waiting. I was only one escorted by bike, so It's just me and him hanging out. He has to stay because it turns out he's also a musician in a band that plays at the Knight House.
I remember asking why he had picked me up, and why I didn't get the limo, and he said because the one that was making invitations had chosen a specific method of transportation for each person. Motorcycle guy suggests that whomever invited me thought that I would enjoy this. Thank you, anonymous party person, I did enjoy it. 4laugh
After that... nothing. I could mention a couple of the games I played while waiting, but they aren't that interesting, and didn't make a lot of sense.
Overall, a very fun and enjoyable dream. I just wish it could gone on longer.
