My heart shall never be complete
For the one whom i love shall never know of my suffering

My heart, forever encased in cold, unforgiving ice
Since i shall never feel her warm embrace

My heart beats in a slow frail tempo as if to give out any second
Only to be restored to its former, magestic, self by her love

My heart forever linked to hers by invisible bonds
Only, she cannot see them

My heart beats, though i wish it would stop
For every beat means another step away from her

My heart longs for her though it knows its desire will remain unfulfilled
Rejection and misery, its only friends as of late
