i had to write a story for schooland i thought it was preaty good so did my teacher so she put it into a contest well this is my story that i wrote

Trapped in the school door

Today I am going to tell you a story about a evil magical door.
That has been locked forever by the principal of the school .Until one day the lock brakes and the door is seeking its revenge.

Here comes Lexi . Lexi is a 12 year old girl. It is her 2nd year of middle school. She has brown eyes, long brown hair, and she is 4ft tall. People say that she is very wondrous. She excels in many things like science, drama, cheerleading, swimming, and the electric guitar.

Her best friend is Sam or Sammy. Sam is a 12 year old boy. He has longish jet black hair, blue eyes, and he is 5ft tall. People say that he is very musical, fun to be around. He excels in math, basket ball, all things musical, and drama. He and Lexi have been best friends since 3rd grade, there really close.

Lexi and Sam don’t hang out with only them, they have other friends, so at lunch they eat with them and no with each other. Most of there conversations are about this strange door that is in there school its been there since the school has been built, witch was in 1990, and then was locked in 1993 because kids would walk in and never come out.

Lexi passes the door all the time on her way to lunch. Sometimes she stops and admires its old rusty red color and its wired scratches and markings, and wounder were there from were they came from.
Sometimes she wishes it was open so she could walk in and see what is so scary about it, it just seemed like a very old door to her.

Brrrrddding! The lunch bell range finally!
As Lexi was walking down the hall toward the lunch room she noticed something different, the door was open!

“Lexi! Lexi! Hey wait up.” Her friends shouted.

Whoosh! The door slammed shut!

“What are you staring at.” Her friend asked.

“Nothing just the door again.” Laughed Lexi.

“ You and that door you’re always thinking about it, why is it locked, what’s
behind it, your so wired!” Her friend announced.

But it was true, at lunch Lexi didn’t eat because she was t caught up in the door
and all its mysterious. In math Lexi couldn’t pay attention.

“ What could be behind it“. Lexi thought.

“Lexi. Lexi! Lexi!” The teacher screamed.

“Huh, what.” Lexi stuttered.

“ Maybe this is why your failing math!” The teacher yelled.

“Sorry I will pay better attention.” Lexi stuttered again.

The teacher began teaching again, at the end of the day Lexi walked home
slowly with the door still on her mind. As soon as she got home she called Sam.

“ Hey Sammy.” Lexi greeted.

“Hey Lexi. What are you doing?” Sam replyed.

“Ummm well Sammy you can say no but do you want to go to the school?”
Lexi asked shyly.

“Sure I forgot my math book .” Laughed Sam.

They did what Lexi’s thing 1st.As soon as she got to the school Lexi ran to door with Sammy close behind.

“ Oh not the door again, its locked you can’t get in.” Groaned Sam.

Ignoring Sam, Lexi yanked the door open with no trouble at all. With amazement in his eyes Sam said nothing and just followed Lexi. They walked in the room Lexi could tell that Sam was a little scared. Lexi was disappointed, all she saw was an empty room.

Slam! The door banged shut!

EEEK! A girlly scream echoed in the room, it wasn’t Lexi’s scream.

“Gosh don’t freak out, the door just closed.” Lexi reminded.

“Sorry, it just caught me off garde.” Gulped Sam.

Sammy pointed to a light, neither Lexi or Sam spoke, they just walked toward the light.

Lexi knew something was wrong because they didn’t reach the light quickly, in fact it took awhile to get there.

“I don’t think were at school anymore.” Sam shuddered.

“ Me to Sammy.” Gulped Lexi.

She and Sam were frightened because they didn’t know if the rumors were true about the door or not, they just wanted to get home. They started to approach a house kind of like a haunted house just without the Halloween. It looked really old like fall to pieces, the tree look dark and the bark was chipping off, the branches look like ghost, and there were black bars on all the windows, it had old rusty colors, and it smelt like rotten fish, and the window doors didn’t hang on correctly. But what was really funny was that it had the same door as the school door.

Lexi started stepping forward, eager to get inside, until Sam reached over and grabbed her arm.

“I don’t think that’s a smart idea Lexi.” Sam whispered.

“Sammy look at the door on that house and now picture the door at school, don’t they look the same?” Lexi snapped

“Yeah they do look the same.” Sam agreed.

“ So if you want to get home the best choice s to go through that door in fact something is telling me to go through it, so just trust me ok. Lexi gestured.

Sam nodded his head yes and Lexi and him just walked on to the beginning of the house. Creeeeeek! The creeks were loud and long with each step, but within 10 seconds it stop because they have reached the door finally! Sammy grabbed the door nobe and yanked it open.

Inside it was in the middle in dark and light, and it had all these old painting. They both thought that it looked like a haunted house.

“ Keep going if u want to get home.” Something whispered.

“ I am out in the backyard waiting for you I have a portal all ready for you.” The thing whispered again.

“ Come on we have to get to the backyard.” Lexi informened Sam.

She wished she could stay longer so she could examine all the exquzed colors and paintings. They were walking slowly through the downstairs of the house Lexi was examining every thing she could until something started yelling at them.

“Get out! Get out! Or else you will be trapped here forever like the others!” The ghost screamed wildly.

Out of nowhere it came chasing Lexi and Sam down the hall to the backyard.

The ghost screamed again. “ Get out quickly or else!”

Sam and Lexi were running as fast as they could to get away and safe from the ghost.
They got to the backyard and they were doing great until Lexi tripped.

“Ahhhhh!” Lexi screamed with tears in her eyes.

“Go Sammy save yourself!” Lexi shouted.

He shaked his head no and picked her up. He searched the yard trying to find the portal then he saw a glowing light and ran toward it trying not to drop Lexi, as soon as he reached it he jumped through, his eyes close. When he opened his eyes he was back at school, right in front of the door, and Lexi was still inside his arms, her eyes popped open with delight and the tears were gone.

“Thanks for not leaving me Sammy.” Giggled Lexi.

“ No problem, I would never leave you.” Laughed Sam.

Sammy glanced at his watch, it was the same time as when they went into the door. As if time stood still they both thought, he showed Lexi the watch. Just look at each other with amazement in there eyes.

“ Come on lets get your math book and home, I finished the homework I will help you.” Lexi responded.

“O.k!” Sam replyed as if nothing happened.

The next morning Sam and Lexi warned the principal about the door. He thanked them and ran off to put a new lock on the door. Everything went back to normal as if nothing had happened. Lexi and Sam would never forget what happened that day.
