Dear Ms. Pasulka,
I am different from most people. I don’t act or think the way people consider normal. Working hard is difficult if it’s something that doesn’t interest me and I only put forth a bit of effort.
My hobby is to create banners on Photoshop. It’s a great tool for artistic people. In the future I aim to be a graphic designer since I enjoy what I do. Practicing through banners helps me get better at what I do. I mostly enjoy working with bright colors and abstract/funky designs such as: swirls and different types of textures/patterns.
My eighth grade teacher has made a huge impact on my life since he opened my eyes to many things such as: child labor, human trafficking, child soldiers, and various others things. He has also taught me to do the right thing and stick up for what you believe in, be an up stander and don’t just watch what you know is unjust and wrong. DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT!
Helping out others and volunteering at fundraisers is something I enjoy doing. Currently, I am volunteering at a Soup Kitchen. I know a lot of homeless people can’t afford food and a shelter. This may be true, but we have the power to at least help out instead of just feeling pity. Small acts of kindness can turn into very big rewards. This is my favorite saying since most people how they can help with small acts of kindness and actually do something about a problem instead of just passing by knowing something is wrong and yet not doing something about it.
I seem like a shy and quiet person around people I don’t know well enough to be really comfortable around. When I’m with my friends or classmates that I consider to be comfortable to be around, I can get very loud and random. I can get really passionate about things or people I care about. Sometimes people say I’m too much of a good friend.
