I found this lovely little thing on the corner of my bed the morning before last. It had something tied around its neck... a note from my father! So this was what he was going to send me... he's really cute.

His name's Smok, and apparently, he likes charred or burnt stuff. I gave him a few burnt marshmallows last night and he went crazy. So if you were worried about me not writing to you, Smok is the reason why.

But it's not really just Smok. I'm actually getting to feel a lot better about myself since the incident. I haven't been all sad and depressed, and I have been getting some sleep... Camp really does some good, don't it? Well, it's almost done for the year, though. Can't wait 'till I can get back into my old clothes again...

I'll see you on the ninteenth! Until then, take care of yourself, y'hear?
