The best advice my mother's ever given me.
She told me to move out, as soon as possible. heart
The best part is, is that it's not because I don't do enough around the house, but rather, because I do too much. She finally saw today how I've been constantly doing chores since I had breakfast, often running from one end of the house to the other, and decided that that's not right.
So she told me to move out as soon as I can, or else she and my dad will end up holding me back. She says they're getting too old, so they constantly need me to do chores for them (my dad especially, as he's constantly getting hurt for stupid reasons and can't do chores or help at all), and she realized that I'm going to be stuck taking care of them unless I leave.
She's the kind of woman who refuses to be taken care of -- she wants to go into a nursing home so as to keep me from having to take care of her. Wonderful, ne?
