So... yesterday i woke up to find that my 16-17 year old cat (we've never been sure exactly how old she is, but i've had her for at least 15 years) had an abscess on her jaw.
Had to wait until today to take her to the vet.
Vet thinks it's just an infection, lanced the abscess, prescribed some antibiotics and let me bring her home. She is now sleeping next to my bed in her cat carrier.
