The Parents continued again
Standing up he watches it revert. 'It' turned out to be a female. Her dark brown fur changing to pale skin and black wavy hair, her form becoming more and more slender almost fragile like. As he watched the transformation he found it hard to imagine that this unassuming human survived the original attack that cursed her. The wind, oddly silent after the lightning bolt, picked up again reminding him that he was no longer dressed and a second glance back at the woman confirmed that neither was she, she must have been a beast for quite some time. Sighing he would walk off through the remains of the village looking for something that would fit him, putting marginally less effort in finding suitable clothing for her.
The woman woke with a start, franticly looking around. The first thing she noticed was fire somewhere near her, then she looked down at her self and stared at her hands for a moment. A look of almost confusion on her face. How long had it been since she was human last.....? Looking past her hands she saw she was clothed in a plain dress, torn in a few places but much better than she would have expected. Looking about her again she noticed a forest around her, just where was she? She directed her attention back to the fire, it was a small campfire. Just beyond it, sitting up against a tree was a man, he looked late twenties but she couldn't be sure, he was dressed in a button up flannel shirt and dark slacks, she couldn't quite make out the color in the fire light, both slightly singed. The man just sat there watching her, his face expressionless, she reached up and pushed her hair out of her face, was it this long last time? The man took in a sharp breath startling her, "Let's start with your name" His voice wasn't harsh but it held no warmth either and she recoiled slightly at the sound of it. "M-my n-name is...... Brandy" her voice was soft and a bit shaky and she looked at the ground as spoke not remembering how she came to be here. "Well Brandy, I'm Aaron. Are you thirsty?", he motioned to a bucket sitting near her half filled with water a ladle hung on the rim. She looked at it for a moment before reaching for it and getting herself some water. "Mister Aaron", she spoke but never looked back to him, "what..... how, how did.... um." "You attacked the village I happened to be staying in," he interrupted her shortly, "I was not as easy to kill as the villagers." he smiled menacingly with the second half of his statement, but it didn't seem to frighten her. "Oh" is her only response as she stares into the ladle. Her depressed demeanor was irritating him so he shook his head, "Did you choose to become such a beast?"
