Credit
Okay, so topic of the day... okay not really I just put up an entry on something that bugged me and somehow I have ended up with another thing irking me.
Anyways. Why is credit so important? And why is it so hard to get? What is the point of credit? The point of credit is so that you can get a loan to get things like a car or a house. Basically you need credit to get in debt. Now how do you get credit? by getting in debt!!! So you have to get in debt to get the credit you need to get in debt. Does this make sense to anyone? Cause it doesn't to me!!!!
Apparently at the age of 18 I have a credit score of 702. This is because for the last 3 years I have been paying on the car my parents got me at age 16 on my birthday. My boyfriend, Jamie, however has no credit cause he has never had to make payments on anything. He tried to get out a loan to help his mother recently but couldn't get a loan because he has no credit. But because I have been in debt with my car and have a credit score if I co-sign then he can get a loan from someplace.
So think about this. If my boyfriend ever wants to get something like a house or car he needs credit. But because he has never made payments on a car or house he can't get credit.
...think about that one.
