Part Four
Andree began to worry as she looked all around for Lyuna but she was no where to be seen. Sai had said that it wasn't unusual and that Lyuna often took off on her own but Andree didn't understand why. Lyuna was a nice girl even if she did keep to herself and she figured that Lyuna was just shy. But that was until Sai had told Andree that Lyuna had lost her heart a long time ago to the Heartless. "Marluxia....is it really like her to go off?" Andree asked. She still wasn't comfortable calling him Marly yet.
Marluxia nodded as he leaned back slightly and reclined on his elbows. He had lost his heart as well though he had regained it awhile ago. From what she was told his appreance hadn't changed and he kept his Nobody name. He sighed and closed his eyes for a moment then opened them. "Yes, she doesn't care much for crowds or other people. It's not because she doesn't like us; she just prefers to be alone."
"That's sad," Andree said sadly. She stood once more and said, "I'm going to change that. I'm going to go and look for her."
"Huh? But we're not allowed to leave," Marluxia said. Though a smile formed on his lips as he too stood. "I might as well as go too." He wrapped his arm around Andree's shoulder and added, "Since your my girl and all."
"I KNEW IT!" Sai yelled as she appread behind them. "You lied to me! You said you weren't a couple!" She pouted as she looked over at Andree's blushing face and shook her head. "Ah, whatever. Just don't be gone to long alright?"
We.....we won't," Andree Said without looking at Sai. Then before anymore could be said she tugged on Marluxia's hand. Thanks to Marluxia's ability at creating portals they were able to get into the woods without much trouble. "Wow.....it's dark."
"Well....it is night after all," Marluxia said with a laugh. He squeezed her hand gently and said, "Well, let's get looking."
It was well past midnight when Xemnas, Cloud, Tifa, Vincent ((he wasn't dead)), and some of the more trusted Campers were huddled together. Sai blew on her chilled hands as she stood in between Axel and Riku. When Marluxia, Andree, and Lyuna had failed to return before the end of the bonfire Sai decided to rat them out. She couldn't believe no one knew that Lyuna often took off and things got worse when Xemnas asked Sai he hadn't been told earlier. Now while Yuffie and Cid looked after the other campers it was up to the others to find the three. "Alright, Vincent; you take Sai, Demyx, Riku, and Roxas. Cloud; you go with Axel, Sora and Zexion. Tifa; your with me, Vexen, and Xigbar."
Sai gave a fleeting wave to Axel; who was pissed mostly because Riku was with Sai. As each group moved out Sai wondered what had happened to the three. Had Marluxia and Andree found Lyuna? or had something happened to them before they could? And what about Lyuna? She was always back before the bonfire ended. She looked up at Riku when he wrapped his arm around her shoulder. "Your worried aren't you?" Riku asked softly.
Sai nodded as she said, "Not so much about Lyuna or Marluxia but I am about Andree. She gets distracted much too easily; plus she's not the greatest fighter since she's never had to learn. Plus this is my fault since I was supposed to be looking after her."
"It's not your fault," Riku said. He pulled Sai closer and added, "She should have known better to go off on her own."
"She wasn't by herself," Sai said. "Marluxia was with her."
Riku smiled as he shook his head and asked, "He hardly counts right? He's barely able to look after himself."
Sai giggled as she nodded her head then sighed. "But she's still safer with him then by herself." She moved her flashlight around and shook her head. "Where could they be?" She moved her light again and then swung it back. "Wait......what was that?" She moved forward quickly and let out a yelp. "LYUNA!" Sai and Riku quickly moved and Riku picked Lyuna up into his arms. "It looks like someone beat her pretty good."
"But who could do this kind of damage? Lyuna is one of the best figthers around.....there's no way she'd be taken out like this," Riku said concerned.
Lyuna's eyes opened and she looked up with Riku with pain filled eyes. "Ri....ku....Andree....Mar....Marly......big.....too....po....powerful."
"What Lyuna? What was too powerful? And what about Andree and Marluxia?" Sai asked quickly.
"Vergil......bad.....twin," Lyuna said before passing out once more. She laid limply in Riku's arms.
"Vergil? Bad twin? What the hell was that about?" Riku asked. He looked up to see a very pale looking Sai. "Sai? What is it?"
"If Vergil is here then this means trouble," Sai said. "Vergil is from Lyuna's planet; he has an evil twin known as Korgon. He slaughtered a lot of innocent people until Vergil managed to slay him and absorb his soul. But in doing so at certain times Korgon can take over Vergil's body and kill once more. To prevent this Vergil sealed himself away but.....if he's here.....we may not find Andree and Marluxia alive."
Riku listened with a frown as Sai explained and began to worry about not Andree and Marluxia but the others. If all this was true then it may be too late for Andree and Marluxia but the others would need to be protected. Biting his lip he said, "Let's find Vincent-sensei and bring Lyuna back to camp."
The sun began to slowly raise as Xemnas listened to what Sai had to say about the boy named Vergil. Lyuna was being tended in the medic cabin where Vexen treated her wounds. He sighed as he leaned back in his chair. "If this is true then we need to make sure that the students are in at night. And I'll have to call in Saix and the others from their other duties."
"Yes but........What about Marluxia and Andree?" Sai asked.
Xemnas was silent for a moment then he said, "I'm calling the search for them off. It's regretable that we weren't able to find them."
"WHAT!?!?!? YOU CAN'T DO THAT!" Sai said angerily as she pounded her fists off Xemnas's desk. "It's your responablitly to look for them!"
"They could be dead already and I'm low on staff as it is. If this boy is here then I must protect the rest of my campers including you," Xemnas answered.
"Then let me, Axel and the others look! We'll look during the day! We can't leave them out there!" Sai hissed. "You know we can fight and protect ourselves. Let Cloud, Tifa, and Vincent come with or Sephiroth and Genesis!"
Xemnas thought for a moment and said, "Very well; it shall be Sephiroth and Genesis that look for them. I know you want to do it but I can't allow it."
Sai let out another hiss but since she knew she wasn't going to win she nodded and said, "Fine." Then she turned and walked out.
Else where Andree let out a groan as she woke in a strange looking cave. The last thing she remebered was finding Lyuna fighting with a unknown boy about their age. He had strange glowing runes on his body. Seeing that Lyuna was losing she and Marluxia had swiftly moved in to help. She wasn't the greatest figther like Sai had said and had been taking out quickly. Her hand went to her forehead which was already wrapped. "Oh good, your awake," a voice said from behind.
Andree turned a little to quickly and got so dizzy that she let out a moan. She closed her eyes for a moment and when they were opened she looked up at the same boy from last night. His face was looking at her in concern. "You...."
"I'm sorry if my brother hurt you," the guy said as he helped Andree into a sitting postion. "He's gets out of hand when the moon is full."
"Where's Marluxia and Lyuna? And who are you?" Andree asked.
"My name is Vergil; slave to my brother Korgon until I can seal myself once more," Vergil answered sadly. "Now I'm not sure why but it was my brother who brought you here though I could hazard a guess." He sighed as he started a fire to warm them both and added, "As to where your friends are I don't know. Like you I woke up here though if they faced Korgon then....I fear they might not be alive." Andree listened as Vergil explained what had happened on his and Lyuna's world. "I have to yet to get my brother to spill it on how he set us free but since then it's been hell. See; I can speak to him in my mind just as he's more then likely listening to us talk."
"So if he's listening then will you ask him where the others are? Why did he attack us?" Andree asked.
"He's doesn't know where your friends are; after beating them he picked you up and left. As to why your here..he refuses to tell me," Vergil answered after a moment.
"Is there anyway I can talk to him?" Andree asked.
Vergil bit his lip as he nodded and said, "It's possible but with him in control I won't know what's going on. He's more powerful then I so he can block my mind. It might be dangrous."
