I was in work one day... thinking to myself ((happens when your in the position i'm in))

...when an extraordinary thing happened to me... or rather a psychological 'ah-HA!'

I am a Rubber band.

*smiles* now, before you get any ideas to just come up and snap on me or whatever, just listen to what I have to say. I'm here.. snapping the rubber band on my wrist that i've been wearing for a few weeks now.. and I don't think i'll take it off... I feel... strange to say I have a close bond with it now, and it feels weird having it off.

Anyway. Lets get to why i'm saying this.

Rubbers bands. When you first get them, they're new ((obviously)) so they're strong and not very flexible, but they can stretch. As they stretch, they start to loosen up, being able to stretch more, helping you do the things you need them to do.

They last a long time, granted you don't stretch them or snap them too much, causing them to thus, snap and become useless.

I feel... like i'm a rubber band that somehow can heal itself, but always seems to get weaker each time. I want to help everyone I can when I can. I want to be useful, I want to do everything. But sometimes even I can be snapped by other people and I do things I don't want to do, but honesty is what i've promised myself I would do and it hurts sometimes.

Nothing hurts me more than having to tell the truth to someone... knowing it's going to hurt them......... it's the worst thing i've ever had to do.... every time.

....Rubber bands can just become weak sometimes too, and snap, breaking.. never to be used again... thrown away and replaced.
....


*shrug* In a way, I think all humans are kind of like that... but such is life XD

anyway.... first journal for awhile... i've got some things I really need to do over time... hopefully I can get em done soon.
