War for Teska

Battle of Isakka Heights - Traitor Guard forces now hold and control the Teska rebel (Teska Homeguard) strategic position of the Isakka Heights in the Felvir Forest. The Rebels amass troops in the west to retake the Heights with assistance from Tau hunter cadres of the Val'ur Sept. Meanwhile, Loyalist PDF troops prepare for their own assault on the Heights from the east. Long aware of the threat that has fallen upon the system, the Eldar of the Craftwold Ildrae have made planet fall, while they have forces set up south of Traitor Guard positions.
Result: The Loyalist PDF is destroyed by the Traitor Guard whose forces are greatly reinforced with equipment abandoned by the fleeing PDF. The Tau/Rebels are eventually able to breach the defense lines and route the Traitor Guard, but it is a phyrric victory with the Tau's elite Crisis suits units especially taking a beating. With their primary goal being to observe the actions, motives, and attitudes of the other factions, the Eldar make a quiet and sudden withdrawal from the area.
Battle of Moldavium - The Traitor Guard-held city of Moldavium is to become one of several gates that will open to bring the full might of Chaos onto the planet. A contingent of Marines from the Black Templars Chapter are deployed to end this dark ceremony. They employ the most hardened veterans of the Loyalist PDF to assist them in this endeavor. Meanwhile, Tau and Rebel forces also push into Moldavium, unaware of the severity of the situation.
Result: The Tau and Homeguard forces are devastated and forced to retreat from Moldavium; Prominent Tau commander Shas’El Karos is killed in the battle, crushing morale among the Tau troops. Though defeated, their presence was enough to delay the Marines and PDF from moving directly with all of their forces on the Traitor Guard, thus giving the traitors enough time to open the Chaos gate and bring forth the forces of Chaos Undivided.
Battle of Concordia's Gate - Chaos and Rebel/Tau forces fall upon the Sargos Grand Port, renamed Concordia's Gate by the Loyalist PDF, in an attempt to severely hinder, if not completely cut off Imperial Guard reinforcements from making planet fall in the Helkras Region.
Result: Loyalist PDF is routed by Tau forces who are themselves engaged and crushed by the Ultramarines. The Traitor Guard are driven by an unintentional pincer assault by both Rebel and Ultramarine attacks. Concordia's Gate manages to remain in Imperial hands thanks to the Marines, but reinforcement efforts are still somewhat hindered as the Homeguard begins to fortify their lines south of the Port.
Battle of Kardov – Mixed Tau and Rebel forces attempt to seize a vital supply route to holding their position south of the Sargos Grand Port, while forces of the Ultramarines and Imperial Guard make an attempt to remove the stubborn defenders in order to consolidate control of the spaceport.
Result: Although the loyalist PDF, suffered heavy losses in the assault, the presence of the Ultramarines and newly landed troops of the 501st Guard Regiment tipped scale of the battle decisively in the favor of the Imperium. Ultramarine Brother-Captain Maximos, commander of the Ultramarine forces on Teska, was seriously injured leading the final Imperial push on the base of Rebel Tau sympathizers, and the Tau, with their army extended too far, failed to guard against an infiltration of their base by multiple squads of tactical marines. As a result, both Homeguard and the Tau Cadre are forced to retreat further and give up the spaceport completely to the Imperial forces.
