Ever so silently... and evasivly, me and Kiki made our way along the dark streets. Slipping through every alleyway we could find. What we had to do, had to be done as quickly and silently as possible.
"It's not every day a deal like this comes along, eh Kiki?" I whispered to Kiki.
"Then again, it's been right in front of my face this whole time!" I said aloud, then I began to think.
Once the deal was done, I could get almost whatever I wanted. These fairy wings had remained unnoticed upon my back for, Lanzer knows how long. It was time to sell. Sell. Sell.
When I got to the marketplace, it was packed full with other vendors and their over inflated prices. I made my way to my little shoppe, among the stands. I had earned over a quarter million gold through my sales... so I had upgraded to having a store in a building.. while most just had little stand they had built themselves.
I placed the fairy wings carefully under the glass of the display case. And Kiki wrote the fair price on a piece of paper, and laid it beside the wings. The wings were the only thing for sale... because my shoppe had been so sucessful that I sold everything else.
As I waited for that special customer to come in and buy the wings, I thought about what I could buy with all that new gold. It wasn't much gold that I would get for the wings, just 38k but that was enough to buy many of the things I wanted.
I had had my eye on regaining my Staff of Angels. But I mainly shopped for value... things that would increase in value over time. And I had a few things in mind. I told Kiki to fetch my calculator, which she did with in no time. After punching in the numbers, and muttering to myself. I smiled... it was possible after all.
The road to richness was so near. I kept quite. Wrote my plan down on a piece of paper and stuffed it into my pocket. And waited for that customer... that customer would make my day.
Night turned to day. And if the marketplace seemed crowded and busy at night time... you should have seen it at day time. I had grown tired of waiting. And I was thinking of going into the backroom to work on some of the homework I had to do (for the Gambino Academy, which is like your average high school). And I had lots of homework to do. I told Kiki to come get me if there was any customers. And I went off into the back-room.
I wasn't there long when Kiki scratched at the door, which was the agreed signal. I went out and acted my nicest for the customer. She finally bought the wings!
The buying customer barely got out of the door, when me and Kiki flew out and went to the nearest vendor.
Which is where I got my second Kiki, named Tokey ^_^
